主讲人简介
新罕布什尔大学副教授，南加州大学传播与新闻学院博士，研究聚焦比较视野中的平台政治经济学和创新产业，关注全球数字资本主义背景下的劳动创业和社会公平。
讲座主要内容
随着全球互联网平台经济和全民创业文化的兴起，劳动的内涵也发生了巨大的变化。创业打工人 （entrepreneurial labor） 作为一种新兴的主体正在迅速崛起，要求研究者冲破传统劳动和创业研究的学科界限、建构新的研究框架。而对创业打工现象在中国的本土化分析也呼唤一个讲述中国故事的独特路径，本研究针对这一问题提出“中国范式” （China Paradigm），旨在超越国际主流话语中“中国模式”vs“中国威胁论”的二元对立。
讲座基于主讲人的著作The Labor of Reinvention：Entrepreneurship in the New Chinese Digital Economy（Columbia University Press，2023）。这本书分析了创业打工现象在2008年金融危机后中国的演变，着重讲述劳动创业主体的重新塑造、技术变革和城乡空间转换、与国家政策和国际地缘政治经济变化的复杂互动。书中分析了“大众创新、万众创业”政策对中关村创投圈、创业者和城市空间的重塑，勾勒出2008年后中国创新创业拉动经济社会转型的新图景。
