Tianjin & Beijing launched monthly train pass
Railway authorities are rolling out two new types of tickets to be sold at a discount for intercity travel between Beijing and Tianjin - a ticket good for 60 trains within 30 days, and a 20-ride ticket that must be consumed within 90 days.
The new tickets will provide convenience for frequent commuters, China Railway Beijing Group said. The discount prices were not announced.
Six rail transit stations along the Beijing-Tianjin intercity line will make the customized tickets available starting today (November 16th).
After purchasing one of the new ticket types, passengers can make seat reservations online or via 12306 app. Or they can board without a reservation by directly swiping their identification cards at a railway station ticket check gate.

自11月16日起，铁路部门将在京津城际铁路推出30日定期票、20次计次票两种新型票制产品，方便北京、天津两地商务差旅和通勤旅客便捷出行。
京津城际铁路开办新型票制产品的车站为：北京南、天津（天津西）、武清、军粮城北、塘沽、滨海，新型票制产品可以在京津城际铁路指定发到站和指定席别的列车上使用。
自11月16日起，旅客可在12306网站、铁路12306手机APP购买以上产品。
购买30日定期票的旅客，在30天有效期内，最多乘坐60次在京津城际铁路开行的、购买产品时指定发到站和席别的列车；
购买20次计次票的旅客，在90天有效期内，最多乘坐20次在京津城际铁路开行的、购买产品时指定发到站和席别的列车。
同时，定价按所有车次同席别实际执行票价统算，并实行相应折扣优惠，具体以发售价格为准。
旅客购买以上新型票制产品后，可通过席位预约和直接刷证两种方式乘车。
席位预约方式乘车：乘车人可在12306网站、铁路12306手机APP、自动售票机提前预约产品所对应发到站及席别的席位。预约席位后，乘车人持购买产品时使用的有效身份证原件进站检票乘车。
直接刷证方式乘车：当列车有产品所对应发到站及席别剩余席位时，乘车人可持购买产品时使用的有效身份证原件，直接进站刷证检票获取席位乘车。
Residential building closed off after receiving virus-positive parcel
A residential building in Haidian district of Beijing is under closed-off management after a parcel sent from Inner Mongolia tested positive for coronavirus.
On Monday, a building of a residential community in Haidian district was put under closed-off management after an outer packaging of a parcel delivered to a resident there from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region tested positive for COVID-19.
The parcel was sent to the Keyuan residential community in Zhongguancun of Haidian district from the Xilin Gol league in Inner Mongolia. The subdistrct community of Zhongguancun started emergency response and all the individuals and environment that had contact with the parcel were tested negative, according to a release from the community.
Recently, in response to some places reporting parcels testing positive, authorities in different places across China, including Beijing, Tianjin, and Xianning in Hubei Province have released notices to remind residents to take precautions upon receiving packages.
快递包裹，阳性！北京中关村一社区紧急封控！
10月31日晚18:51，海淀区中关村街道科源社区11号楼2单元一居民收到顺丰快递，内包装为无纺布袋，拆封后即将外包装丢弃。
11月13日晚，该居民接到内蒙古锡林郭勒警方电话，称当地陆续检测出快递包裹有阳性。
11月14日上午，该居民通知科源社区居委会，社区逐级上报到海淀区疾控中心。
11月14日下午，海淀区疾控中心去其家中采集3件咽拭子和10件外环境，无纺布袋检测结果为阳性，其余均为阴性。
11月15日凌晨四点，中关村街道接到海淀疾控中心通知，凌晨4点半，中关村街道和科源社区居委会启动应急响应，对11号楼采取封闭措施，对涉及的4人采取集中隔离措施。
Quarantined woman watches on CCTV as quarantine staff kills pet dog
A Chinese city apologized and removed an employee from his post after he beat a dog to death while the owner was quarantining in a hotel with COVID-19.
On Friday, a woman in Shangrao in the eastern Jiangxi province, wrote on Weibo that city workers entered her apartment while she was quarantining in a hotel with COVID-19 and beat her dog to death.
The footage, which appeared to be from a security camera inside the woman's home, showed two people wearing protective equipment repeatedly beating a small dog with a metal bar.
In a Weibo post published Saturday night, the official account for Shangrao city said that the unnamed employee had been removed fom his post and issued an apology to the dog owner.
The city also apologized for not telling them woman of its decision to kill the dog, and said that workers discovered the dog when they entered the apartment to disinfect it.
隔离期间家中小狗被扑杀？涉事工作人员道歉、调离岗位
11月12日，江西上饶市信州区一居民在微博发文称，自己集中隔离期间，留在家中的宠物狗被防疫人员“撬门”进入后处置。她发布了房内监控视频，并称身穿防护服的人员用棍棒击打宠物狗头部，后来用塑料袋装着东西离开房间，宠物狗“不知生死”。
13日23时许，上饶市信州区官方微博发布关于此事的情况通报。
通报称，现场工作人员未与居民进行充分沟通，将宠物狗进行了无害化处置。西市街道已对相关人员进行了批评教育，调离相应岗位，并责令向当事人诚恳道歉，已取得该网民谅解。
同时，通报中否认了上述网民在微博中说的“撬门而入”一事。通报称，“工作人员联系辖区民警，在民警的见证下，开门进行消杀。”
