开幕现场｜山赴xDOSE “Katy”系列合作手工藏毯展

DOSE Gallery is thrilled to welcome both familiar faces and new acquaintances to the opening event of "When Hand-Weaving Encounters the Beauty of Spatial Lines." Highlighting CHANGPHEL's latest collection, the "Katy Series," which draws inspiration from the stunning works of contemporary visual artist Katy Ann Gilmore, this project is presented by CHANGEPHEL in collaboration with DOSE Gallery.
在展览中，DOSE提供了数件Katy艺术品原作，观众可以直观的感受到当代艺术与传统西藏手工藏北羊毛地毯相结合的精彩，同时在与山赴共同构思的展陈里，传统西藏纹样的藏毯穿插其中，传统优质的地毯质地，与当代艺术的极简线条在空间内和谐相融。
At the exhibition, DOSE Gallery presents several original works by Katy Ann Gilmore, allowing visitors to directly experience the captivating fusion of contemporary art and traditional Tibetan handwoven carpets made from Northern Tibetan wool. Within the exhibition space, jointly conceived by CHANGEPHEL and DOSE, traditional Tibetan-patterned carpets are interwoven with Gilmore’s minimalist lines. The result is a harmonious blend of classic carpet textures and modern artistic expression, creating a unique and immersive experience.

Katy的艺术创作，由自然景观导向最终极简的线条画面，她的作品在数学，空间，色彩相互影响下最终形成自己独特的画面语言。山赴的西藏手工藏毯，将传统的技法沿用至今，纯手工编织，100%采用天然藏北羊毛。有着细密精湛的工艺质感，同时，运用瑞士克莱恩环保染色剂，固色优异，保证地毯色彩的独特性，也做到了低碳环保。
Katy Ann Gilmore’s artistic process is driven by natural landscapes, culminating in minimalist line compositions. Her work, influenced by the interplay of mathematics, space, and color, has developed into a unique visual language. CHANGEPHEL’s Tibetan handwoven carpets preserve traditional techniques, with each piece meticulously crafted by hand from 100% natural Northern Tibetan wool. The carpets boast exquisite craftsmanship, utilizing eco-friendly Swiss Klein dyes for superior colorfastness, ensuring both the uniqueness of the carpet’s colors and a commitment to low-carbon, environmentally conscious production.
