Maryn Varbanov in Sofia home in frint of the "Firebird"万曼 (Maryn Varbanov，1932年出生，保加利亚，1989年去世，北京)是一位享有盛誉的艺术家，他的影响力广泛，从故乡索非亚到第二故乡巴黎，以及对中国八五新潮美术的影响之深远。上世纪六十年代席卷欧洲的总体艺术，利用自然和新的纤维材料，形成空间化、雕塑化的现代壁挂艺术，在这样的契机下万曼来到中国，将中国当代的纤维艺术扶植，在材料上的突破和空间形态的突破催生了一种“软雕塑”，建立了现代造型艺术与建筑设计的新的生命联系，在北京/杭州的工作室除了培养了出一批极具创造力和才能的艺术家之外，极大启发了中国早期的装置艺术创作，在重精神影响的“八五新潮”这段时间乃至八十年代后期整个中国艺术界的发展，从道德及精神意义上都带来重大影响。
万曼与他的妻子，活跃于中国艺术、电影、音乐、时尚等领域的宋怀桂女士(1937–2006)，在1980-1990年代的中国共同创造了一个前瞻性的国际化场景。今年7月29日，宋怀桂女士的回顾展亦将于香港M+博物馆开幕。Maryn Varbanov (born 1932, Bulgaria – died 1989, Beijing) was a prestigious artist whose influence stretched from his native Sofia, to his adopted home of Paris, and more notably to China, where he was a powerful influence on the formation of the country’s avante-garde in its crucial, early years. The transformative impact of the industrial revolution on art drives the advent of the Total Art Movement that swept across Europe and America in 1960s, fibre art began to reflect more subtle shifts and took on strong spatial and sculpture tendencies. It was exactly at this juncture that Varbanov tried to foster China’s own contemporary fibre art, and the ‘soft sculpture’ was born out of breakthroughs in terms of materials and spatial dimension of Varbanov’s art. With his wife Song Huai-Kuei (1937–2006), a legend in the spheres of Chinese art, film, music, and fashion, they together foster a forward-looking creative scene and cultivated a modern, international lifestyle in China during the 1980s and 1990s. On 29th July this year, the retrospective exhibition of Song Huai-Kuei will open at M+ Museum in Hong Kong.

阿纳斯塔西娅·科马尔 Anastasia Komar布面丙烯及玻璃聚脂 Acrylic and glass polimer on canvas阿纳斯塔西娅·科马尔（生于1986年）是一位驻纽约的艺术家，拥有莫斯科建筑学院的建筑和环境设计硕士学位。以科学、神学和历史为参考，科马尔将丙烯酸绘画以简炼、生动和发光的笔触与玻璃聚合物雕塑并置，使这些雕塑与生物分子、神话和哺乳动物的形式相呼应。 科马尔曾在纽约Management、纽约视觉艺术学院画廊、韩国CICA博物馆等机构展出，并在纽约和加利福尼亚实施了多个在地项目。
Anastasia Komar (b. 1986) is a New-York based artist with an MA in Architecture and Environmental Design from Moscow Institute of Architecture. Referencing science, theology, and history, Komar juxtaposes acrylic painting executed in short, vivid, and luminescent brushstrokes with glass polymer sculptures that echo forms at once biomolecular, mythological, and mammalian. Komar has exhibited at Management, New York, the gallery of the School of Visual Arts in New York, the CICA Museum in South Korea, and has executed several site-specific projects in New York and California.

占卜师与他的利刃 The Augur and His Blade梁浩，1988年生于广东。2012年毕业于清华大学美术学院绘画系，目前生活和工作于北京。其艺术实践以绘画为主，并涉及不同的媒介。他围绕着手、凝视和思想之间的动态关系展开创作，通过构建技术生产的幻景，亦或对文字与艺术史上图像的引用，来重新考虑手的技术性，以及流转于其中的情感意识。 梁浩的个展包括: “重现” 玉兰堂，北京（2022）；“时间的褶皱” 10号赞善里画廊，香港（2020）；“一种目光” 玉兰堂，上海（2019）；“映像与猎场” 玉兰堂，北京（2017）。他的作品亦在不同机构参与展出，其中包括纽约 Art OMI艺术中心、韩国Daechumoo Fine Art、上海⺠生现代美术馆、北京今日美术馆、冰岛 Offshore Project Space、北京中央美术学院美术馆。他曾参加美国纽约Art OMI（2016）和冰岛塞济斯菲厄泽Island Iceland Offshore Project（2015）的艺术家驻地项目，并于2018年和2016年入围“约翰·莫尔绘画奖”。
Liang Hao (b. 1988, Guangdong Province) currently lives and works in Beijing. He graduated from the Painting Department of the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2012. His practice focuses on painting while extending to other media. He is interested in the dynamics between the hand, gaze and mind, reconsidering the technicality of the hand and the affects that flow through it by constructing illusions of technical production and making references to images in art history or texts. His recent solo exhibitions include: Present, Again (Line Gallery, Beijing, 2022); Unfolding into the Expanse (10 Chancery Lane Gallery, Hong Kong, 2020); A Kind of Gaze (Line Gallery, Shanghai, 2019); Image and Hunting Ground (Line Gallery, Beijing, 2017). His work has been exhibited in institutions that include: Art OMI, New York; Daechumoo Fine Art, Korea; MinSheng Art Museum, Shanghai; Today Art Museum, Beijing; Offshore Project Space, Iceland; CAFA Art Museum, Beijing. His past artist residencies include: Art OMI International Artist Residency (New York, 2016); Island Iceland Offshore Project (Seydisfjordur, 2015). His award nominations include: EACA Prize (2019); John Moores Painting Prize (2018,2016).
