A man who works as a delivery person in Sichuan discovered that his wife went behind his back and used his life savings to buy her younger brother a house. The man told reporters that he works as a delivery person in Sichuan and he saved 300,000 yuan after working hard for several years. He entrusted the money to his wife for safekeeping. He wanted to keep the money to a trustworthy person whom he said was his wife, and he told her that he was planning to use the money to buy a luxury car when the time was right.This year, his wife’s younger brother was planning to get married, but his fiancee’s family told him that he needed to buy or have a house to get their blessings. However, the brother did not have enough savings to pay for a deposit, let alone buy a house, and so he asked his sister for help.Since their parents are all old and only depend on farming for an income, they too could not afford to buy her younger brother a house. She told reporters that she loves her younger brother so much and has always been there to support him in every way. This time around though, she did not have any other means to help him buy a house. However, she thought, how about using the money her husband gave her for safekeeping to pay for her brother’s house?At first, she discussed the issue with her husband, persuading him to use the money he gave her for safekeeping to buy her younger brother a house instead of them buying a luxury car. Little did she know that her husband would refuse. The husband said he can only give her young brother a small amount but he can’t use all his savings to pay for the house that her brother needed to get married. He added that he has worked hard for the money and he can’t just give all of it to her young brother. She grew angry and decided to use the money to buy her brother a house anyway, without telling her husband. She claimed that since they are married, her husband must support her young brother as they are now a family.When he found out that she gave the money to her young brother anyway, he got angry and kicked her out.When her young brother knew about this, he promised his brother-in-law that he will work hard to earn the money and pay it back. However, the husband was already hurt and felt that he was deceived by his wife's actions. He told him to tell his sister that he is divorcing her unless she or he gives the money back.
