On September 14th, another installment of the Bay Area Tea Talk series takes place at the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center.

9月14日,又一场湾区茶话会在湾区国际交流服务中心举办。



Focused on PCB prototype manufacturing, this event is organized by the Bay Area International Exchange Service Center and hosted by the Bao'an Foreign Language Association. The event receives support from the Bao'an District Human Resources Bureau (International Talent Service Station) and other organizations such as Hardware Massive.

此次活动聚焦于PCB原型制造,由湾区国际交流服务中心主办,宝安外语协会承办。活动得到了宝安区人力资源局(国际人才服务站)和Hardware Massive等单位的支持。

The latest Bay Area Tea Talk features a keynote speech by Shahrear Mahmud, the head of R&D at Hiberxen Electronics, on the topic of "Rapid Prototyping of PCBs by EDM and Induction Heating."

本期湾区茶话会由来自Hiberxen电子公司的研发负责人Shahrear Mahmud 作主题演讲,主题为:电火花加工和感应加热在PCB原型快速制作中的应用。

Noah Zerkin, the founder of CombineReality, provides a live demonstration of his newly designed VR device during the event.

来自Combine Reality公司的创始人Noah Zerkin现场演示了其设计的新型VR装置。



Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are critical components of the electronics industry, serving as electrical interconnects between components and being used in nearly all electronic devices. From electronic watches and calculators to computers, communication electronics, and military weapon systems, PCBs are essential whenever integrated circuits and electronic components are involved.

印制线路板是电子工业的重要部件,起到连接元器件之间电气互联的作用,几乎应用于所有的电子设备。从电子手表、计算器,到计算机、通信电子设备、军用武器系统,只要有集成电路等电子元件,就都要使用印制板。

Bao'an, as a major manufacturing district, has a robust demand for printed circuit boards. Advancements in PCB technology play a vital role in the high-quality development of industries in Bao'an.宝安区作为制作业大区,对印刷线路板有着坚实的需求;线路板技术的进步,对宝安产业高质量发展起着重要作用。





The event draws the participation of experts and entrepreneurs from various fields, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, from both domestic and international backgrounds.

活动吸引众了多来自工程、设计、制造等多个领域的国内外专家和企业家参与。

Shahrear Mahmud introduces new ways that he developed to rapid prototype circuit boards by means of electrical discharge machining and induction heating, and he illustrates various details through animated examples. During his presentation, the audience engage in heated discussions and pose numerous questions about his manufacturing techniques.

Shahrear Mahmud向大家介绍了他利用电火花加工和感应加热快速制作电路板原型的新方法,并通过实例动画向大家展示其中各种细节。在Shahrear Mahmud演讲期间,听众针对其制作方法提出了不少问题进行交流探讨。

Noah Zerkin, the co-founder of Combine Reality, showcased the modular Spatial Computing (AR) headset prototype developed by his company and based on the Project North Star open source XR initiative started by Leap Motion (now Ultraleap). After experiencing the headset, the audience give it high praise.

Combine Reality的联合创始人Noah Zerkin展示了由其公司开发的模块化空间计算(AR)头显原型,此原型是基于Leap Motion(现为Ultraleap)发起的北极星项目开源XR计划制作而成。观众在体验该头显后,都给出了很高的评价。


The successful exchange event provides a platform for experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs to showcase technological innovations, share experiences, and learn from each other. In the future, the service center and BAFLA will continue to host Bay Area Tea Talk events, fostering discussions on new phenomena, perspectives, and achievements in the fields of technology, business & trade, and culture.

本次交流会成功举办,为各位专家、学者、企业家提供一个展示科创新成果、分享经验与互相学习的平台。未来,服务中心和外语协会将持续举办湾区茶话会活动,让各界朋友共同探讨科技、经贸和文化领域的新现象、新观点和新成果。
