Carpenters Workshop Gallery艺廊与Lehmann Maupin在今夏共同在阿斯彭策划了一个快闪展览空间，展出来自世界各地顶级艺廊设计师的作品。
Carpenters Workshop Gallery and Lehmann Maupin are partnering on a co-curated, pop-up exhibition space in Aspen this summer, showcasing works from the design and art galleries’ respective world-class rosters.

The pair’s second exhibition, 'Material Space', opened just last week with a focus on 'minimalism through master of material, matter, and form.'

2021年7月31日至9月5日，Objective艺廊将携艺术家J McDonald和Vincent Pocsik举办双个展“Upside/Downside”。此次展览通过“Upside”和“Downside”两个主题串联了Objective在外滩与永丰村的两个空间。
From 31st July to 5th September, Objective will host 'Upside/Downside,' a double solo exhibition featuring works by J McDonald and Vincent Pocsik presented at both Objective’s The Bund and Yongfeng Village locations.
在以“Upside”为主题的外滩展厅中，Vincent Pocsik巨大的无头之身沉默地蜷缩着，伴随光线的变化发出了浅浅的呼吸，无法用言语传递的情绪则在空气中散逸。空间成为了一个超越现实的栖居点，永恒地存在于异形们睡梦与清醒的空隙间。
The theme 'Upside,' which occupies The Bund space, is explored through Vincent Pocsik's huge headless body curled up in silence, breathing shallowly as the light changes and emotions that cannot be conveyed in words dissipate in the air. The space has become a dwelling place that transcends reality, eternally existing in the gap between the aliens' sleep and wakefulness.

而在永丰村5号的“Downside”主题中， J Mcdonald创作的形态各异的作品蕴含着蓬勃的生命力。从蘑菇和树叶，到根茎与蜂巢，深深扎根于大地和自然。
'Downside,' which takes place at the YongFeng Village, shows the works of J McDonald in various forms: from mushrooms and leaves to rhizomes and honeycombs, the works are deeply rooted down in the theme of earth and nature.

两个人的作品都使独特灵魂的非人之物成为了主角，向人们揭露了一个隐秘世界。生命在其中栖居，走过了一个个从无形到有形，从沉睡到苏醒，从降解到生产的循环。从“Downside”到“Upside”， Objective将重新诠释生命的意义，揭开不为人知的世界的一角。
Cumulatively, the double-exhibition aims to reinterpret the meaning of life and uncover a corner of the unknown world. In both instances, the works have imbued inhuman things with souls and personalities, revealing hidden worlds to the public. Life dwells within, concepts from intangible to tangible, asleep to awakening, degradation to production—from 'Downside' to 'Upside.'

Hostler Burrows的洛杉矶艺廊正展出一位出生于韩国，现旅居纽约的多元艺术家Eun-Ha Paek（音译:白恩河）新作。这一系列迷人的陶瓷雕塑作品是艺术家对“看似平庸的物体如何能唤起深刻的感受和反应”的主题探索。
On view now at Hostler Burrows’s LA gallery: new work by Korean-born, New York-based multi-disciplinary artist Eun-Ha Paek. The enchanting collection of ceramic sculptures explores Paek’s fascination with ‘how seemingly banal objects can evoke profound feeling and reaction.‘
展览将持续至8月26日，同时， Hostler Burrows的纽约艺廊也将非常成功的“Bend, Bubble, and Shine: Copenhagen Ceramics”展览延长至今夏结束。
The exhibition runs through August 26th. Also of note, Hostler Burrows has extended its highly successful New York gallery show, ‘Bend, Bubble, and Shine: Copenhagen Ceramics,’ through the end of the summer.

2021年8月10日，清华大学艺术博物馆“栋梁——梁思成诞辰一百二十周年文献展”开幕，本次展览展示了大量珍贵的文献资料，包括照片、录像、图纸、模型、书信、手稿以及空间装置，共计362件作品。同一次展出的如此大量珍贵资料实属百年不遇。
On August 10, 2021, 'DongLiang —— Liang Sicheng's 20th Anniversary Exhibition' opened at Tsinghua University Art Museum. This exhibition displays a large number of precious archival documents that had never been shown before, including photos, videos, sketches, models, books, letters, manuscripts, and installations. The 362 works in total offer unprecedented insight into renowned architect Liang Sicheng’s career.

梁思成（1901-1972）作为中国著名的建筑学家、建筑教育家，是中国建筑学科的开拓者和奠基者，也是清华大学建筑系的创办人。中国国徽、人民英雄纪念碑都是由他领导设计的，为中国的建筑事业做出了巨大的贡献。
Liang Sicheng (1901-1972) is a pioneer in the architectural field in China, as well as a founder of the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University. The Chinese National Emblem and the Monument to the People's Heroes were all designed under his leadership, and he has made several other outstanding contributions to China's architectural landscape.

此次展览分为5个叙事单元：“求学与归成”、“书写中国建筑史与破译天书”、“城市规划与文化遗产保护”、“设计作品与思想”以及“建筑教育”。
The exhibition is divided into 5 units: 'Study and Return,' 'Writing Chinese Architecture History and Deciphering the Book,' 'Urban Planning and Creative Protection,' 'Design Work and Thought,' and 'Architectural Education.'

作为美国最具影响力之一的克兰布鲁克艺术学院，最近推出了一本史诗级著作及展览，回顾了了学校过去90年中的杰出校友，比如 Charles Eames和Ray Eames, Duane Hanson, Chris Schanck, Nick Cave, Artis Lane, and Ebitenyefa Baralaye.
Among the most influential art schools in America, Cranbrook Academy of Art has recently launched an epic book and retrospective exhibition, which together chronicle the institution’s stellar alumni over the last 90 years. Think Charles and Ray Eames, Duane Hanson, Chris Schanck, Nick Cave, Artis Lane, and Ebitenyefa Baralaye.
此项目是学校为期4年的研究成果，回顾展共展示了超过220位艺术家的275件作品，涵盖了学院的建筑、陶艺、设计、纤维、金属、绘画、摄影、版画和雕塑学科。
The result of a four-year research project, the show features more than 275 works by more than 220 artists across the academy’s programs of study—architecture, ceramics, design, fiber, metals, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

此次展览展出了Hultberg被大众低估了的成就，画廊介绍说“他不仅仅在瓷釉领域有着颇高的建树，同时在美国抽象表现主义运动中也是开创性的人物。”
According to the gallery, the exhibition tells the under-appreciated story, “not only of Hultberg’s career in enamel but also his incredible legacy as a seminal figure in the abstract expressionist movement in America.”
此次展览是艺廊从2019年9月搬进新空间之后第一个展览项目，展览将持续至九月末。
On view until late September, this important retrospective is the first project to take full advantage of Moderne’s gorgeous, new gallery space since it moved in back in late 2019.

Klingebiel从罗森海姆工作室周边的自然景观中汲取灵感，浪漫的瓷釉飞蛾和蝴蝶展示了艺术家精湛的工艺，同时也唤起了人们对已逝时光的怀念。
Inspired by her Rosenheim studio’s natural surroundings, Klingebeil’s romantic enamels of moths and butterflies on stainless steel demonstrate a technical mastery at the same time they call to mind fleeting memories.

7月30日，主题概念展览“Co-Metabolism 共代谢”在MAO Space开幕。
On 30th July, the thematic exhibition ‘Co-Metabolism’ opened at MAO Space in Shanghai.
此次展览由六位代表不同创作背景和身份的艺术家（组合）构成：王鲁炎、倪有鱼、拉斐尔·多梅内克（Rafael Domenech）、经傲、Cometabolism Studio共代谢工作室、姚家豪（Willson Douglas Iu），围绕“公共艺术”、“公共空间”、“公共性”三重概念之间关系的探讨作为出发点。
The exhibition includes 6 different artists representing different backgrounds: Luyan Wang, Youyu Ni, Rafael Domenech, Ao Jing, Cometabolism Studio, and Willson Douglas Iu. The presentation focuses on the concepts of 'public art,' 'public space,' 'publicness,' and the relationships among them.
此次展览也是MAO Space推动当代公共艺术文化的发展与创新实践，引导开拓公众对于“公共性”创作的深度认知和想象力延伸的开端。
The exhibition also serves as a new beginning for promoting the development and innovative practice of contemporary public art culture while exploring the public’s own understanding of the public practice.
此展览将持续至10月15日。

首展“Maker’s Eye”将展出手工艺委员会的特殊工艺品收藏，该委员会作为英国政府的咨询机构在1971年成立，此次展览也是为了纪念工艺委员会50岁的生日。13位杰出的手工艺人受邀从委员会1700件藏品中选出一件自己最喜欢的作品，并由艺术季巡回支持再创作出一件新的作品，作为50周年礼物。
To celebrate the 50th birthday of the Crafts Council, which was founded in 1971 as an advisory body to the British government. The first exhibition was named ‘Maker’s Eye’ which invited 13 prominent makers to select their favorite works from the 1,700 objects in the collection and propose a new piece next to it as an anniversary present.
