Objective荣幸地宣布将于2021年9月5日起举办女性艺术家群展The Feelings We Wear，参展艺术家包括Carlota Guerrero、Charlotte Kingsnorth、Chole x Arredondo、Ellen Pong、费亦宁、王画、柳溪、TSBTD(Mimi&Meya)、Natalia Landowska和Sirine Fattouh。
This week, Objective Gallery opened “The Feelings We Wear,” a new group exhibition featuring works by female artists Carlota Guerrero, Charlotte Kingsnorth, Chole X Arredondo, Ellen Pong, Fei Yining, Wang Hua, Liu Xi, TSBTD(Mimi&Meya), Natalia Landowska and Sirine Fattouh.

这些女性艺术家涉及的艺术与设计创作包括图像、绘画、雕塑、装置及家具等，且都在各自创作领域形成了独特的艺术风格。从女性视角出发，展现出那最温暖、柔软的和对事物重新的诠释。最终通过作品引发关于理性与感性，自由和束缚以及自我觉醒等话题讨论。
The presentation of these female artists spans images, paintings, sculptures, installations, furniture, and more. The works investigate a variety of complex topics, such as sex, love, freedom, bondage, and self-awareness. Cumulatively, they offer a variety of perspectives on "the feelings that we wear" in today’s often complex world.

每位艺术家都在自由地发掘自己独特的意义，可能是个体、是家庭、是整个社会亦或是虚拟时空，但终究每个人都是自己现实的终极权威。Objective将与这十位女性艺术家一起去探索这个时代下多样的创作表达。
Each artist was free to discover her own unique meaning, whether she is an individual, peer, a group of people, or a multi-dimensional space. But at the end of the day, everyone was the ultimate authority over their own reality. Together with these 10 female artists’ works, Objective aims to explore the feelings that we wear and the diversity of female creation in today’s world.

Gallery Sohe艺廊与MUD Gallery艺廊于上海MUD Gallery空间内联合举办了“自由之相-关根伸夫”展览，展览已于8月24日开幕。从某种角度来说，这次展览可以被归类为一次侘寂审美和现代艺术融合的实践活动。关根伸夫与 Pierre Jeanneret 的昌迪加尔系列作品的搭配为我们带来了难得的综合体验。
Gallery Sohe and MUD Gallery recently launched a wonderful exhibition spotlighting works by acclaimed Japanese sculptor Nobuo Sekine in conversation with pieces from legendary designer Pierre Jeanneret’s Chandigarh series. The resulting combination feels at once rare and transporting, taking visitors to another time and place.

"Phase-Earth"
关根伸夫作为日本“物派”开派人物，也是著名的雕塑家和抽象画大家。1968年10月，关根伸夫在神户须磨离宫公园的“第一届当代雕塑双年展”上展出了作品”位相-大地”，这一作品成为了“物派”运动的起源。后来，他又提出的“美术就是表现存在”的概念发展成为物派的基础理论。
Nobuo Sekine is the founder of the Japanese "Mono School,” as well as a well-known sculptor and master of abstract painting. In October 1968, Nobuo Sekine exhibited the work "Phase-Earth" at the "First Contemporary Sculpture Biennale" in Kobe Suma Rikyu Park. This work became the origin of the "Mono School" movement. Later, the concept of "art is to express existence" that he put forward was developed into the basic concept of the "Mono School.”

ROOM 6×8艺廊于9月3日推出一场与“光”有关的全新展览—— “Let there be Light”，携手展出 8 位艺术家与设计师的作品，这其中包括：费亦宁、郭熙、李共标、刘国强、潘望舒、安塞姆·雷尔、童昆鸟和周轶伦。
Room 6x8 has just launched "Let there be light” in Beijing. The new exhibition features work by artists and designers Fei Yining. Guo Xi, Li Gongbiao, Lou Guoqiang, Pan Wangshu, Anselm Reyle, Tong Kunniao, and Zhou Yilun (R3PM3).
展览主题“Let there be Light”引自《圣经·创世纪》。在创世的第一日，上帝耶和华说：“要有光”， 于是便有了光。此次展览旨在让我们暂时抛弃对“光”的语言学定义，重新回归由视觉神经刺激感官所引发的感受本身。
The theme is drawn from the Book of Genesis in the Bible.: "And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

本次展览包含三种不同的“光”：首先是ROOM 6×8艺廊临街的一整面玻璃窗透入展厅的自然光；其次是分散在各处、由艺术家和设计师作品发出的人造光线；更进一步，是每一位置身 ROOM 6×8艺廊的观众对光的感知。空间中光的韵律将激荡出强烈的身体感受，引发或欢愉，或舒展，或昂扬的情绪，在这一层“光”中，它真正通过身心联通了人与万物，展期内昼夜的更迭、 季节的更替，都将让每一抹浮光掠影无时无刻处于流动的状态中。
This exhibition honors the evocative nature of “light;” from the natural light that shines through the glass window of Room 6x8; to the light emitting from the works on display; to the light felt by every guest who walks into the space. It is a reflection of the various types of light that connect people and objects together.

The Mayfair neighborhood of London is now home to Sonic Bloom, a multi-sensory playground of sound curated by Alter-Projects and designed by sound artist, designer, and electronic musician Yuri Suzuki. The public art installation comprises a network of colorful, horn-shaped interactive “flowers” that amplify sounds from the environment—the music of the city—and transport voice recordings, inviting participants to listen on one side, and speak on the other.

On view now at Southern Guild in Cape Town: Loveland, a collection of large-scale, enamel-on-glass paintings by up-and-coming artist Jozua Gerrard. The work explores the artist’s “fascination with the everyday” and his personal experiences of contemporary life—from hanging out with friends to moments of aching loneliness. Barely in his twenties, Gerrard offers a striking perspective onto what it’s like to come of age today.

Last week, Superhouse and Friedman Benda recently launched Memory Foam, a virtual presentation of new work by OrtaMiklos. The project includes a new series of vibrantly rendered, sculptural chairs—which also exist IRL—accompanied by a delightfully fantastical art video game, created in collaboration with digital artist Guillaume Roux, musician Antonio Davanzo, and writer Kristian Anoldi.

OrtaMiklos此次新系列的构思和制作是在全球疫情猖獗的情况下，一次重回童年时期的家而产生的。每一把椅子都代表着一个家庭成员或朋友，这些人都为此创作激发了许多灵感。
OrtaMiklos’s new collection was conceived and produced during a visit to a childhood home during the pandemic, and each chair represents a family member or friend who influenced the creative process.
