世卫科学家再斥新冠起源武汉实验室谣言

澳籍世卫组织医学专家多米尼克·德怀尔（Dominic Dwyer）近日在接受澳大利亚广播公司（ABC News）专访时，重申了世卫新冠溯源报告中关于新冠病毒“极不可能”通过实验室传人的结论。

德怀尔此前以世界卫生组织（WHO）调查组专家身份前往武汉市，参与中国—世卫组织新冠病毒溯源联合研究。

26日，美国总统拜登发声明称，已下令美国情报部门在90天内报告新冠病毒起源，以厘清新冠病毒是源自人类与受感染动物的接触，抑或是来自实验室事故。

德怀尔在采访中说到，“拜登说到他得到了情报部门关于新冠起源相互矛盾的报告，但据我所知（新冠起源于实验室）没有任何清晰的证据。”

Dominic Dwyer, an Australian representative on the World Health Organization's (WHO) study into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, has defended the team's findings, telling ABC News that "there was no evidence to back up the lab escape theory."

Professor Dwyer's remarks came after U.S. President Joe Biden ordered U.S. intelligence agencies to carry out extra investigations into the source of the pandemic.

"The fact that President Biden says he's getting conflicting reports from his intelligence agencies, to me, suggests there is no clear evidence. Otherwise, it would be obvious what was going on," added Dwyer.
