30 New Stores in Town
Although many stores have closed in the past two months, new stores have also been opening in the city.
From Shanghai's first Maison Margiela Café and the French dessert shop Ladurée to popular bar group FLASK GROUP, here’s a look at the new stores in Shanghai this summer!
Maison Margiela Café in Chengdu
Not long ago, the world's first Maison Margiela Café, under the fashion brand Maison Margiela, opened in Chengdu.
Maison Margiela Café will officially open on July 9 in Shanghai.
In addition, MARNI's first concept flagship store in China, JIL SANDER's flagship store, and AMIRI's first store in Asia will open at Jincang Wenhua Plaza.

The French dessert brand Ladurée opened in Shanghai for the first time in 2014.
It is now back in Xintiandi again.
The store offers ten macaron flavors, including rose, pistachio, chocolate, and orange blossom.
Ladurée's stores in Kerry Center and Qiantan are also in the works.

Museum of Ice Cream from New York, USA, is expected to open this month.

There will be a pink fantasy space, which has more than 10 art-themed scenes and special flavored ice creams.

The private restaurant, Cheng Yuping Sichuan Cuisine Studio, officially closed in early June this year, and now it’s going to re-open at a new location.
Master Cheng has been a chef for over 30 years and has learned from the Chinese Sichuan cuisine master Shu Guozhong.
The new store is called "Ping Chuan." The environment is more suitable for business banquets than the previous family banquet style.

8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA
Italian restaurant 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA has been awarded two Michelin stars for six consecutive years.
BOMBANA, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, started to renovate some time ago and will return this month.

Yue Party
The newly opened restaurant Yue Party integrates Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Cantonese cuisines.

Huaiyang cuisine restaurant, MOOSE, has been awarded the one-Michelin star for many years and is set to open its third store.

Juke
Juke is run by Polish chef Michael Janczewski, who has worked at Michelin-starred restaurant Belon and the creative Cantonese restaurant Canton Disco.

STARLEAF
The Southeast Asian restaurant STARLEAF opened in Pudong, Shanghai, at Huarun Times Square.
Chef Wu Haifeng won the World Chef Championship previously.
The restaurant focuses on using natural ingredients and traditional cooking methods, and their Southeast Asian menu also adds a twist of creativity.
