看来同学们都已经知道了，特雷莎·梅来了，这也是她就任英国首相之后首次正式访华。
据外媒报道，梅姨此行带来了“史上最大的商业代表团”（biggest ever business delegation）。

三天的访华行程，梅姨把首站选在了湖北武汉。
江城武汉，高校众多，是我国教育领域的重镇；而深化教育合作则是特雷莎·梅此访的重要任务之一。

上午刚刚抵达，梅姨就前往武汉大学，出席湖北英国教育文化交流展，并与师生互动交流。她对两国之间教育合作的重视程度可见一斑。
曾经在英国留学的演员江疏影作为中国青年的代表，也参与了交流活动。
离开武汉大学，梅姨又去了长江边上，听当地专家介绍武汉为减少河流、湖泊污染，以及保护长江江豚所做的努力。

2018年1月8日，法国总统马克龙把访华之行的首站选在了西安。
爱丽舍宫表示，马克龙择西安为首站象征意义重大，因为西安是“中华文明的摇篮，是古丝绸之路的起点。”

2017年5月16日，捷克总统泽曼参观侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆，成为参观该馆的首位在职外国总统。
Czech President Milos Zeman visited the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre on May 16, 2017.
He became the first incumbent foreign president to visit the hall, which commemorates more than 300,000 Chinese lives taken by Japanese invaders when they occupied the city from Dec. 13, 1937.
The president wrote "deep regrets" in a guest book after he and his wife watered the Tree of Peace at Peace Square in the hall.
