Four Things You Must Try That Are ONLY at CHEERS Summer Fest
CHEERS Summer Fest is only a few days away and wow do we have some exciting news for you! A few of our lovely vendors wanted to make the fest extra special so have created some food and drinks that will ONLY be available at the fest including a Moutai Strawberry Slushie! So let’s find out more about these exclusive offerings!
Moutai Strawberry Slushie
by Poupée Bistro & Café
You’ll undoubtedly have seen the latest craze of Moutai Luckin Lattes but take our word for it, these aren’t all they’re cracked up to be, you can hardly even taste any alcohol! But you know what does pack a punch is Poupée Bistro & Café’s Moutai Strawberry Slushie. Crafted just for the festival, strawberry puree, fresh lime juice and ice is combined with a hefty slog of Moutai to make a super refreshing drink that is sure to knock your socks off! Served as a generous 400ml pour, it will set you back a mere RMB 68.
But remember: it’s only available this weekend at the CHEERS Summer Fest… so run don’t walk to The BOX this weekend to be the first to try it!
Swiss Cheese Fondue
by The Roots
If you’ve ever been to The Roots there’s a good chance you’ve tried their heavenly Cheesy Garlic Bread, well at the fest they’re taking cheese and bread to a whole new level just for the festival with their Swiss Cheese Fondue. Carefully designed by Chef Antoine it features a mixture of classic fondue cheeses: Emmental, Comté and Gruyère along with a smidgen of Mozzarella to add springiness are all melted down until the perfect level of velvety gooiness then is served with artisanal bread cubes for dipping. The Cheses Fondue is an absolute steal at only RMB 38, but there are only 80 portions available – once it's gone it's gone! – so be sure to get there early to secure your bowl of cheesy goodness!
Wine Mojito
by Berlin Bites
Who doesn’t love a good mojito? Cooling and refreshing, it’s the perfect drink to enjoy in this recent humid weather. But what’s even better than a mojito? One with wine of course! For CHEERS Summer Fest, Berlin Bites have put their unique spin on an old classic with their Wine Mojito. Combining white wine, lemon soda, lime juice, simple syrup and fresh mint for a delicious concoction that goes down a treat. Plus at RMB 40 a glass it’s a real bargain!
French Style Rösti Potatoes
by The Roots
Hats off to Chef Antoine from The Roots who is bringing not one but two exclusive dishes to the fest. For his second dish that you can only get at the fest, we have Rösti Potatoes. Using a traditional Northeastern French recipe, rösti is not dissimilar to hash browns, it sees grated potato seasoned with parsley to bring freshness, which is then pan-fried until crisp and golden. The rösti will be served with a layer of grilled cheese (because everything's better with cheese), and each bite just melts in your mouth, they’ll also be the low, low price of RMB 18 per rösti (cut into pieces).
To try all of these exclusive treats you’ll need to get yourself down to the CHEERS Summer Fest at The BOX this weekend (Sep 9-10). If you haven’t already got your tickets, scan the QR code in the poster below to get them now!
