Last week, we hosted French-speaking Signature holiday camps for the students from LFIP (Lycée Français International de Pékin) on the topic of Discover the Ancient Egypt through the Nile River. It is a 5 full-day camp. Let's see the in-class photos below. 

上周在阿特黎尔三里屯校区为法国国际学校的学生开设了以从尼罗河探索古埃及文明的特色假期营。为期五天的全天营，授课语言为法语。让我们一起来回顾假期营照片吧！

What is a Signature Camp?

什么是特色假期营？

It is a full-day camp having fun in learning both Art and Fablab classes focused on a big subject. The Signature camp will open to the students starting at the age of six and plus. 

阿特黎尔特色营是一个全天的课程，在一个大主题下，学生将利用半天学习艺术相关创作、另一个半天学习创客技术性的内容。课程开放给六岁以上的学生报名哦！

Storytelling is a great approach to apply in class. It arouses the interest of students in need of learning more and memorizing easier.

讲故事是在课堂上应用的一种好方法。它激发学生对学习的兴趣且帮助记忆。

The main project of the camp is based on the creation of an animated diorama. The teacher introduced the shabti box (a funerary figurine used in ancient Egyptian religion). Inspired by Tutankhamum's secret rooms, the students made it with a secret drawer.

这个假期营的主要项目建立在制作一个可移动的立体模型上。老师介绍了沙比提盒子（古埃及宗教中使用的葬礼雕像）。在法老图特卡蒙秘密房间的启发下，学生们在立体模型下加了一个秘密抽屉。

Students learnt about constellation and the fun technique to paint the starry sky with glowing paints

Students used plants to make paper

The diorama reflects Egyptian ways of life during Ancient Egypt times. Students also discovered hieroglyphs. They wrote their hieroglyph name on the paper they made. 

这立体模型反映了古埃及时代的生活方式。学生们还探索了象形文字，把自己的象形文字名字写在制作的纸上。

The diorama is animated by mechanical movements, light electronics with LED for starry night and applying magnetism to open the secret box in a mysterious way.

立体模型是结合了机械运动、灯电子学和LED灯诠释了星光闪烁的星空 和以磁学的应用方式来打开神秘盒子。

Students learnt light electronics for the constellation

Student learnt how to use a 2D drawing software to create a pyramid or obelisk cut by laser cutting machine at OpenFab

学生学习如何使用2D绘图软件绘制埃及金字塔或方尖碑，之后老师使用阿特黎尔开放实验室的激光切割机做切割

The Ancient Egyptians pay particular attention to their appearance. They wear makeup and wigs made of natural hair glued together with heated wax. In addition, symmetry was a very important concept of male as well as female beauty. During the camp, with the guidance from the Art teacher, students created their profile self-portrait in Ancient Egyptian style.  

古埃及人特别注意他们的容貌。他们喜欢化妆和戴假发（天然头发用加热蜡粘在一起）。此外，对称是男性和女性美的一个非常重要的概念。这假期营，在美术老师的指导下，学生们学习用古埃及风格创作了自己的肖像画。
