iPhone里的Siri是谁？

这个其实是个旧闻。

Siri的默认英语配音是一位发音清晰的美国女士，名叫Susan Bennett。不过让人意外的是，这位配音的美国阿姨当初并不知道自己的声音被用在了Siri上（因为录完之后，公司卖给谁，录音者是不被告知的）。

某一天，朋友告诉了Susan，Siri的声音就是Susan。Susan的第一反应竟然是“毛骨悚然（creepy）”……哈哈哈，想想也对啊，和另外一个自己说话，而且还能聪明地回你话啊，着实能吓人一跳啊。

顺带说一下，Siri是可以调成男声的。（设置丨通用丨Siri丨Siri声音丨男声）更神奇的是，还可以选择澳大利亚口音、美国口音，英国口音啊！试听了一下，果然是地道标准的各国英语口音。简直是英语口语学习神器啊！

Susan: Hello. I am Susan Bennett. You probably know me. I’m the voice actor who provided the voice for Siri.（配音演员就叫voice actor。注意，舞台上表演舞蹈、杂技、魔术类的演员通常被称为performer。）

[Music]

Susan: The first time I actually heard my voice as Siri was when my friend emailed me and said “Isn’t this you?”

Siri: Not bad, only two meetings today.

Susan: And because I didn’t have the newest version of iPhone, I went to the Apple site. And that’s why I heard my voice. And I just…OH… hahahahaha…uhmmm, that is me！（苹果官网，在口语中可以简单说成Apple site。）

Susan: Siri, would you like to be interviewed by CNN?

Siri: This is about you, Susan, not me.

Susan: I started my life as a machine quite young. I was the voice of Tillie the All-Time Teller , the first ATM machine. (singing) I am Tillie the All-Time Teller. I work for first national bank.（teller指的是银行柜员机。ATM的全称是Automatic Teller Machine。）

Susan: The Siri voices were recorded in 2005, in the month of July. Four hours a day for the whole month. So when I recored these voices. I had absolutely no idea where they would end up. My voice can be heard on many GPS systems, many telephone systems.（ I had absolutely no idea…完全不知道……）

Susan: Siri, who is the real voice of Siri.

Susan: When I first discovered that, uhm, that was my voice. To be honest, it was little creepy.（creepy，令人不寒而栗，毛骨悚然的。）

Siri: Yes, it appears to be raining.（appears to be，看起来像是）

Susan: I am used to hearing my voice, maybe in the airport. Thank you for using Delta Airline. But… ahahaha…this…this…real thing you can interact with in your hand…was little…It took some time for me to get used to it. But she and I are friends now.（be used to/get used to doing，习惯于做某事。）

Susan: I am leaving now, Siri. Have a nice day.

Siri: Thank you, Susan. I hope you have a nice day as well.
