看完初中季军范悦航的小故事的你才知道什么叫脑洞大开

自己一个人的时候，你有没有感觉到孤独过？埋头学习的时候，你有没有觉得枯燥过？

第15届中国日报社“21世纪·新东方杯”全国中小学英语演讲比赛总决赛初中组季军、南京一中初中部的范悦航很少有这样的情绪。想象力极其丰富的他头脑中永远有一个无比精彩的小世界，想象也是他眼中的最美动词。

每天放学路上或者在家里我都会自己跟自己对话，把自己想象成两个人或者好几个人一起交流。想象出一个场景，听起来挺幼稚的，但是其实挺令人激动的。

想象力也是范悦航学习上的超级帮手。他觉得有些学生为了应试而学习是一件很遗憾的事情，希望可以和大家分享他想象的故事，唤醒更多人对世界、对学习的美好认知。

八年级我们开始上生物课，对于很多理论知识很多人死记硬背的方法。但是我很喜欢生物这门课，我会把人体的细胞想象成一个城堡，细胞壁想象成城墙上的士兵来抵御病毒和细菌的攻击，城墙上的门是细胞膜，控制细胞质和体外营养的传输等等，这样记忆生动形象，也让我对这些学科的学习兴趣更浓了。

范悦航是一名欧美电影发烧友，小小年纪的他已经看过200多部英文电影。看电影也让他的想象有了更多具象的承载。

我从小就开始看迪士尼动画片，喜欢得不能自拔。自从对英语感兴趣之后，一直看英文电影，看完经常把自己想象成电影人物，久而久之就形成了想象的习惯。

除了迪士尼动画片，我还特别喜欢漫威超级英雄系列，看了之后热血喷张。后来也开始看一些美剧和经典电影，比如《巴黎圣母院》、《雾都孤儿》，领略异域风情。

从范悦航演讲台上的激情不难看出他对英语的热爱，更难能可贵的是他也竭力想把这份对英语的热情传递给身边的人。

初一的时候班级里很多人不喜欢学英语，觉得英语很烦，要背单词，学语法，很枯燥无味。我跟他们不一样，我能看到英语美丽的地方，我就想用自己的力量改变同学们的想法，于是创办了一个英语栏目叫“村民新闻villagers news”。因为我以前玩过一个手机游戏叫《我的世界》，美国一个视频作家根据这个游戏做成了《村民新闻》，是一个很搞笑很有创造力的节目。我就把这个节目搬到班级里。第一期是我自己一个人solo，当时特别紧张和尴尬，效果并不太好，但是第二期我的好朋友加入了，前五期我的队伍不断扩大，后来最大规模一次性请到13位同学。我们在节目里一起聊各种新闻，包括班级里的、学校里的，甚至国际新闻。其实也不简单呢，到现在一共办了42期节目，所有稿子都是我自己写，其实挺不容易的，但是每次结束同学们都给我掌声，我的付出有了回报。

The Most Beautiful Verb in the World is Imagine

Look at me, what do you see? I know, a fifteen-year-old boy absorbed in his studies, preparing for the high-school entrance exam. I know But deep inside my mind I have something really naive, something really imaginative. That is an empire called the “eternal realm”, with me serving as a prince and a hero fighting evil and crimes, using super powers like Iron Man, Captain America etc. I get my ideas according to fiction movies and all kinds of mysteries. I often spend hours thinking and acting the scenes in which I fight like a real hero. It is like a great gate through which I can observe the world and create another one by myself.

Actually, in real life, when I have problems, when I have obstacles, I go there, change my perspective and make my mood as good as new. In my eyes, imagination is so important and imagine is the most beautiful verb in the world.

As Einstein once said, “Imagination is the source of science.” That can’t be more true. When we learn theories from books, we put them in our head, imagine how they’re used and think about the process, and such a coincidence that is exactly the course of architectures designing buildings, sculptures and drawing blueprints. 

Secondly, imagination is very important. Its poser is endless. For example, for me, maybe simply proposing that I’m being praised by my parents some day can give me the power to cheer up and go for my future goal. So, please imagine every day. It is like a brush, which a can use to draw the most exquisite pictures of art in my mind, and bring relaxation to my spirit.
