About Us
The ICRC Regional Delegation for East Asia covers China, DPRK, South Korea, and Mongolia. The delegation's main task is to promote awareness and implementation of international humanitarian law, the legal framework that seeks to minimize human suffering caused by war.
The delegation also aims to familiarize governments, experts, national Red Cross societies and civil society with the ICRC's humanitarian work and emergency response around the world.

Role Description
The Supply Chain Administrator ICRC Beijing Delegation is looking for ensures that purchase requests are handled efficiently and effectively to meet needs in the field. S/he also makes information about potential or firm orders available to other logistics staff and those requesting services. Acting as focal point of Logistics, s/he also ensures an effective and efficient order management, increase customer satisfaction.

As the Supply Chain Administrator,
s-he will be responsible for:
Keep timely communication with requester site, purchaser, shipping clerk and warehouse for On Time Delivery. Provide monthly order follow-up report with key order implementation control points to Head of Department as overall updates with all concentrated information.
Deal with inquiries regarding to Requisition Orders (RO) status and provide feedback to the requester.
Receive, register and follows-up all RO of Africa, Asia, Middle east and DPRK. Assist the requester when the data on the Request order is incomplete.
Process RO according to the ICRC logistic and financial procedures.
Provide export document to Requester Site for a clear Shipping instruction, certificate requirement and delivery approval.
Collaborate with Purchaser, Shipping clerk and Requester site to deal with Shipment Overage, Shortage and Damage report.
Order management till Requester provide Quality and Quantity check result, and completion of Goods Confirmation as end of the supply chain.
DPRK daily operation and UN exemption request preparation.
Achieve 100% compliance in the observation of Finance Manual and Logistics Procedures.
Manage the statistics on a monthly base including reconciliation of statistical reports.
Register and manage Purchase Order (PO) Files from DPRK with the procurement team.
Communicate with Manila Statistics to make sure the information in our statistical report is correct and timely updated.
Manage Logistics archiving room related to PO File.
Collect PO supporting documents from different role of Logistics dept and send them all together to Requester Site(s)to complete PO Files within one month after Procurement done in China.

Selection Requirements & Experience:
College or bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or professional certificate in a Supply Chain Management (SCM) or other equivalent discipline.
2 years' work experience in a similar field with knowledge of whole process of SCM.
Fluent spoken and written English. CET 4 or above.

Your Profile
Proactive with sense of accountability, responsibility and team spirit.
Good problem-solving skills and data analysis capabilities, Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent Customer Service skills including customer and detail-oriented and diligent working attitude, interpersonal communication skills on organization, coordination and negotiation.
Strong process orientation to general ICRC procedures.
Able to work independently to settle multitasks under pressure.
Experience of SAP, Oracle is plus.
General view on Customs Rules and Regulations is plus.
