Job title: Financial Assistant

Department: Finance

Location: Shanghai

Division: Education Division

 *Good intern and fresh graduate with willingness also welcome to join us


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-  Review expense claim forms & payment request of Beijing office, ensure the compliance with accounting principles and company internal policy

-  Review accounting booking & Kingdee reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and global guidelines

-  Reconcile month-end accounts breakdown to maintain accounting accuracy

-  Amortize fixed assets and intangible assets on monthly basis and review with administrative stock

-  Prepare documents and reports to OUPC Finance team for group internal charge monthly

-  Manage internal and external audit request

-  Support all aspects of cost and expense management

-  Work with Kingdee and IT team to ensure data integrity, set up and enhance reporting process, especially with system upgrading

-  Assist with monthly reports required by governments, e.g., statistics bureau and SAFE

-  Assist with contract and documents filing and register in accordance with OUP internal control process

-  Assist with month-end closing reports and budget/5Y plan process

-  Support leadership team on ad-hoc projects


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

-  Qualified accountant or equivalent with university degree in Accountancy and Finance

-  Good command of English

-  Initiative and the ability to prioritise

-  Good communicator  

-  Systems experience of MS Office (including Excel), Kingdee

-  A logical problem solver with strong numeric skills

-  Discrete and trustworthy

Job title: Partnership Manager

Department: Educational Ressources and Servicers

Location: Shanghai

Division: Education Division

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS

-  Help to maintain business cooperation with domestic cooperative publishing houses, track project progress, and provide necessary support services for partner marketing

-  Strengthen communication with headquarters and overseas regions, learn more about the contents of overseas departments to find more and better content, and introduce the domestic market

-  Strengthen the communication with the relevant departments of the company and assist the department's projects to successfully pass the relevant processes of the company

-  Responsible for preparing the required documents for the project according to the requirements of relevant departments of relevant companies

-  Can find and discover new opportunities to develop new partners and negotiate new cooperation projects


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

-  Have communication skills and teamwork spirit

-  Have the ability of book planning and innovation

-  Strong oral and written English, English major or overseas study background is preferred

-  5 years + work experience. Work experience in publishing industry or digital publishing industry, or related industry, editor experience is preferred

-  Able to accept business trips

-  Bachelor’s degree or above

Job title: Marketing and Support Officer

Department: Oxford AQA

Location: Beijing, Shanghai, or Chengdu

Division: Education Division

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS

-  Set up and manage OxfordAQA’s presence on social media, creating engaging content, and moderating teacher communities on WeChat

-  Work with the global OxfordAQA marketing team to develop a regional marketing strategy for China, including adapting and translating online and offline materials for the market (such as blogs, videos, leaflets, and welcome packs)

-  Assist with organising and evaluating the annual conference for OxfordAQA schools in China, including event logistics and promotion

-  Work closely with central events team on termly ad hoc marketing and teacher training events

-  Work closely with central events team to ensure the execution of events complies with company compliance regulations and budget

-  Support approved centres to use OxfordAQA marketing materials correctly at school events, maintaining brand consistency and ensuring materials are used in line with cooperate brand guidelines

-  Develop and maintain a deep understanding of OxfordAQA customers and their needs, and work with the sales team on correct use of the CRM to ensure a single customer view

-  Other supporting duties as required by the OxfordAQA East Asia Team


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

-  Experience in event management, advertising, marketing, communications, or other related course of study or its equivalent in training and experience

-  Demonstrable working experience in marketing, preferably in education industry

-  Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and other marketing tools

-  Strong sense of initiative and accountability and ability to organise and handle multiple projects

-  Meticulous attention to details and ability to manage time effectively

-  Must be result-oriented, innovative, and able to deliver results to agreed time

-  Able to work long and irregular hours occasionally for events

-  Must be a team player, willing to assist others on the team when needed

-  Good communication skills in English. Able to work in multi-cultural environment. Experience overseas is a plus

-  Comfortable with periodic travel
