处暑，是二十四节气的第十四个节气，也是秋季的第二个节气。在这一天里，太阳到达黄经150°。处，止也，表示炎热即将过去，暑气将结束。而在广州，处暑时节往往会再次迎来高温天气，俗称“秋老虎”。

The End of Heat (Chinese:处暑) is the 14th solar term of the year and the second one of autumn. On this day, the sun reaches 150° celestial longitude. As its name suggests, End of Heat signals the end of summer heat. However, in Guangzhou, End of Heat is always followed by another period of hot weather, which is commonly known as "Indian Summer".

处暑，意即“出暑”，暑气渐消，冷热交接。人生亦如此，炎凉更迭之际，每一次顺势和逆势的选择，都是出口。

This solar term sees the dissipation of heat and the approach of coolness. The same can be said for life. Every choice and every change will be a right one.
