[FIELD TRIP] Lower Secondary End-of-Year Adventures
During the final week of the 2015-16 academic year, YCIS Beijing Lower Secondary students enjoyed a myriad of engaging activities designed to showcase what they learned over the course of the year as well as blow off some steam post-exam season.
On Monday, June 20, our students had the opportunity to engage in outdoor activity field trips, getting to try their hand at either water sports or rock climbing.
Those who chose to participate in water sports were taken to the Olympic Rowing Park in Shunyi. Students had their choice of paddleboards, canoes, wind surfers, and small schooners as they enjoyed their fun in the sun on a bright clear day.
For those who preferred a little more of a challenge, indoor rock climbing was a popular choice. Students tested their metal on a variety of rock faces, with some students even managing to summit the extremely dangerous vertical hang!
