Vani Gupta: The Superlative Senior 最佳的毕业班学生

In this week’s edition of Student Blogs, we introduce Year 13 student Vani Gupta. Originally from India, Vani has been with Yew Chung International School of Beijing for seven years where she’s developed into one of the student body’s most charitably active and academically high-achieving members.  

在本周的学生博客版中，我们介绍了13年级的学生Vani Gupta。 Vani来自印度，她在北京耀中国际学校学习了七年，在这里她已成为最具活力和学术成就最高的学生之一。

Fresh off the news of her scholarship offer to the University of British Columbia, Vani shares details of her favourite school memories, her plans after graduation, and her advice for younger students during their time at YCIS Beijing.

在获得不列颠哥伦比亚大学的奖学金之后，Vani分享了她对学校生活的美好记忆、毕业后的计划并为还在北京耀中国际学校读书的年轻学生提供了建议。

First Impressions 第一印象

As a shy Year 6 student, Vani was nervous when walking into YCIS Beijing on her first day. Within moments, however, she was made to feel at home.

作为一名初来乍到的六年级学生，Vani第一次走进北京耀中国际学校的时候感到很紧张。然而，不久之后，她便感受到家庭般的温暖自在。

“The first thing I remember was that I walked into a classroom and sat down,” Vani says, “and the student next to me immediately asked me my name and started a conversation with me. Everyone was so warm and friendly.”

“我记得的第一件事是，那天我走进教室坐下，”Vani说，“我旁边的同学立即问起我的名字，并开始与我谈交谈。每个人都非常热情友好。"
