The intro

(Listening Comprehension)

好心你就咪咁「啷嚟」啦!「啷嚟」 is the Cantonese version of 挑剔. You could also say 「腌沾」. Now in English it's much simpler. It is "picky", "picky". So it's "pick" with a "Y" at the end. So you could say, "Oh, David, he is such a picky person, he won't eat anything that has garlic in it." In fact, adding “Y” to the end of any words is a good way to change something into an adjective. For example, once I treated some of my English colleagues with some 蛋捲, he said, "Mummmm, tastes good, tastes coconuty."

Another example, when you look up the sky in the night which has a lot of stars, you could say, "Wow, it's a very stary night. Also, for a nice guy who chats a lot, you could say he is a very chatty guy. But for a terrible person who chats a lot, you could say, "Oh what? David? God, he is such a mouthy @X!#*/x…. Mouthy is "mouth" with a "Y" at the end.
