Directions to the bank

去银行的方向

a. Go south. 

You will see a factory.

往南走。你会看到一个工厂。

b. Turn west and go straight. 

You will see a hotel. 

A bank is beside the hotel.

往西拐，直走。

你会看到一家旅馆。

旅馆旁边有一家银行。

c. Turn south and go straight. 

You will see a bookshop.

往南拐，直走。

你会看到一家书店。

d. The bank is next to the bookshop.

银行在书店旁边。

6. Pair work.

俩人一组练习。

Look at the map above.

看上面的地图。

Take turns to tell each other the way.

轮流告诉对方路。 

Turn south. 

The bookshop is next to the school.

向南拐弯。

书店在学校旁边。

Turn east. This way. 

The bank is beside the hotel.

向东拐。这边走。

银行在旅馆旁边。

7.Draw, write and tell.

画，写，说。 

Work in pairs or groups.

结对或分组工作。

a) Get a map of your hometown.

拿一张你家乡的地图。

If you can’t find a map, you can draw a simple map.

如果找不到地图，你可以画一张简单的地图。

b) Choose two places in your hometown.

在你的家乡选择两个地方。

Write directions to the places from your school.

写下你学校的方向。

Do not write the names of the places.

不要写这些地方的名字。 

c) Exchange directions and maps with another group.

与另一组交换方向和地图。

Who can find the places first?

谁能先找到地方？

8. Listen and sing

听歌曲，唱一唱

The doctor says to the little mouse.

医生对小老鼠说。

Open your mouth.

张开你的嘴。

Show me your teeth, please.

请给我看看你的牙齿。

Open your mouth.

张开你的嘴。

Now say north and now say south, north and south.

现在说北方，现在说南方，北方和南方。

You are OK, little mouse.

你没事，小老鼠。

You can not say north,

你不用说北方啦，

And you can not say south, either.

你也不用说南方啦。

You have lost a tooth in your mouth.

你嘴里掉了一颗牙。

It’s in the north of the city.

在城市的北部。

There is a school between the park and the lake.

公园和湖之间有一所学校。

Go south. 

向南走。

You will see a factory.

Turn east.

向东拐。

next to    在……旁边
