作为英语分级阅读中的最经典绘本，牛津树一定是一个必入的坑。

之前咱们也和大家分享过好几篇有关牛津树的学习心得、分类介绍：

但这个坑入得容易，出来却没那么简单，大几千都花了，鸡娃饲料也有了，可这到底该怎么进行呢？

就拿着书对着上面的句子读一遍吗？不不，这不符合咱这经典（土豪）书的气质呀。还是想挖点什么出来，也算对得起咱们这些白花花的银子。

所以，从今天起，咱们的英语栏目也会增加有关牛津树的阅读板块，希望能真正帮到有英语启蒙需求的妈妈们。

今天和大家一起读的是牛津树学校版的自然拼读1+系列：《The caterpillar》。

首先我们可以指着封面问孩子，What is Kipper doing？Kipper正在干什么？

Kipper is holding a twig with a big caterpillar on it. kipper正拿着一根树枝，树枝上有只大毛毛虫。

然后让孩子进行预测：What will the caterpillar become?毛毛虫会变成什么呢？

现在我们一起来读读看吧。

page1:

Kipper had a caterpillar. Kipper找到了一只毛毛虫。

Where was the caterpillar？The caterpillar was on a leaf. 毛毛虫在哪里？毛毛虫在一片叶子上。

Do you know what the caterpillar was doing？Maybe it was eating the leaf.你知道这只毛毛虫在干什么吗？也许它正在吃树叶呢。

Look，Kipper and the girl were interested in this caterpillar.看，Kipper和这个女孩看起来对这个毛毛虫很感兴趣。

page 2:

Kipper put the caterpillar in a box.Kipper把毛毛虫放在了盒子里。

The teacher came in, and they all liked the caterpillar.老师来了，他们都喜欢这个毛毛虫。

Look,what date is it?Yes,it says" Today is May 4th". 看，今天是几号呀？没错，它写着“今天是五月四号”。

page3:

He put leaves in the box. 他往盒子里放了些树叶。

Why did Kipper put leaves? 他为什么要放树叶呢？

The caterpillar was hungry, and Kipper wanted to feed it. 这个毛毛虫饿了，Kipper想喂它吃东西。

page 4:

Then it was not a caterpillar. 然后，它不再是毛毛虫了。

It was raining.正在下雨呢。

What is the date now? Yes, today is June 8th.现在是几号啦？今天是6月8号”。

page 5:

It was a chrysalis. 它是一个虫茧。

But where was the  caterpillar？Can you see it？但是毛毛虫在哪里呢？你能看见它吗？

Kipper couldn't find it because it had became a chrysalis.Kipper找不到它了，因为它已经变成虫茧了。

Page 6～7:

The teacher took the box outside,and kipper asked:"Can we see the chrysalis?"老师把这个盒子带到了户外，Kipper问老师：我们能看看虫茧吗？

What would the teacher answer？Can you guess？老师会怎么回答呢？你能猜一猜吗？

But it was not a chrysalis. 但它不是虫茧了。

The teacher may answer: “Oh，I don’t think we have a chrysalis.” 老师可能会回答 Kipper：“哦，我觉得我们没有虫茧了。”

Page 8:

Why？Because it was a butterfly. 为什么？因为它变成了一只蝴蝶。

How did they feel at last？These children were happy to see the butterfly, but Kipper was surprised.最后他们觉得怎么样？这些孩子是高兴看见蝴蝶的，但Kipper看起来感觉很惊讶。

读完后，我们可以跟孩子问这样的几个问题：

1、Why do you think Kipper put leaves in the box? 你觉得Kipper为什么要往盒子里放树叶呢？

2、Where did the butterfly come from?蝴蝶是从哪里来的？

3、Which is your favourite part of the story？你最喜欢故事中的哪部分呢？

里面也用很有趣的方式介绍了毛毛虫从出生到变蝴蝶的过程。
