 Job Description: 


1.Being flexible with the best teaching practices and demonstrating a willingness to work collaboratively;


2.Effectively teaching a variety of classes, which would include the subject(s) concerned and IB disciplines like Theory of Knowledge; 


3.Being adept in appropriate lesson preparation, setting/marking examination and test papers where necessary and supervising extended essays in the subject concerned; 


4.Setting and marking students’ work accurately and promptly, giving additional guidance and work according to their needs; 


5.Providing feedback appropriately and regularly to students; 


6.Writing reports and testimonials as required within the deadlines set;

 Job Description: 


1.Teach Phases 1-2, 3-4 or 5-6 of MYP Language Acquisition and DP Language B;


2.Support the induction of new students into the school who arrive after the start of the academic year;


3.Work independently and collaboratively to design and refine curriculum;


4.Monitor ongoing progress and assess Language Acquisition and Language B students;


5.Work with the pastoral teams, meet with parents to maintain links between home and school;


6.Have an active role in the wider curriculum, participating in extra-curricular activities and Week Without Walls trips;


7.Regularly check in to MY IB;


8.Stay current with MYP and DP Curriculum; 


9.Maintain records of student work and progress through Learning/Language Profiles;


10.Teach Homeroom Curriculum for High School and provide pastoral care for a middle school Homeroom class;


11.Attend IB authorized training and stay current with all relevant changes to the IB guide.


Requirements: 


1.Bachelor's degree or above in English related area;


2.At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience (IB highly preferred;


3.Have a recognized teaching certificate or Education degree;


4.Have a continuous career and professional development in education.

 Job Description: 


1.Design and deliver no more than 26 lessons per week of an appropriate level, standard and quality as required by the course syllabus;


2.Collaborate with other teachers to support the subject and also students in their learning and development;


3.Design and mark formative assessments and monitor students’ learning in conjunction with other teachers;


4.Provide prompt and appropriate feedback to students on their performance;


5.Have parents meeting and communication at least once a semester;


6.Provide with summative assessment as required by school policy; grade these assessments to meet deadlines;


7.Maintain accurate records of student performance and monitor student attendance, and as required, to prepare appropriate reports;


8.Participate in committees or meetings associated with the operation and management of the school’s programs as required by school management;


9.Act as mentor to students and offer guidance on living and studying in a Western countries and in Western colleges and universities;


10.Take part in staff development activities both as a trainer and trainee;

Requirements


1.Bachelor degree or above in relevant subject area;


2.At least two years of relevant teaching experience;


3.A valid teaching license is highly preferred;


4.Experience working with EAL children is desirable;


5.Near-native English Speaker.
