Green Solutions China is a social enterprise in southwest China that advocates for a sustainable lifestyle, plant-based diet, and organic food. We sell products that are carefully sourced, tested, or used by us. Supporting environmentally conscious businesses and individuals in China and worldwide, we are 100% eco-friendly and cruelty-free. We host monthly events and workshops for community engagement and building awareness on environmental issues.

Our Projects/我们的项目
1. The last Wednesday of each month, we organize a community film screening on a relevant environmental or social issue. Each screening includes a guest speaker-- who gives a damn about our planet! and a hands-on eco-friendly activity. This event brings people together to raise awareness about sustainability through fun activities.
2. Monthly, we organize a Yunnan Mountain Cleanup project. It is a community-based event that raises awareness among the thoughtless litterers. The project gathers volunteers who are eager to hike around the mesmerizing province of Yunnan while cleaning up local trails along the way.
3. We organize vegan cooking classes, eco-friendly DIY workshops, and various off-line events to raise awareness of environmental challenges, animal conservation, animal welfare, people with special needs, and more!
4. We sell eco-friendly products online and at various markets in Yunnan with plans to open a brick-and-mortar shop in the future.
5. Green Solutions runs Zero Plastic Vegan Tours-- a sustainable tour company that advocates for a better world, emphasizing delicious plant-based cuisine, and a greener, plastic-free lifestyle.
We bring our guests to hidden local markets in the rich cultural streets of China. Unexplored by many, guests have the opportunity to savor traditional vegan snacks and flavorsome dishes. We highlight and promote local sustainable businesses and traditions to experience in-depth traditional Chinese culture off the beaten path. We strive to be plastic-free and eco-friendly to all!

1.每月最后一个周三, 我们会组织放映关于各种生态环境和社会问题的纪录片。每期放映我们都会邀请一位演讲嘉宾-她/他非常关心我们的地球，并且亲身参与环保活动。这个放映旨在把人们聚集在一起，通过趣味性的活动来提升人们对于可持续发展的意识。

How You Can Help/你如何帮助
Volunteer positions:
-Photo Editor（Urgent）
-Mountain Cleanup Guide and Trail Designer (Urgent)
-Translator (English to Chinese or Chinese to English, Chinese to English translators needed more urgently, good command of both languages is preferred)
-Event Coordinator, Organizer and Hosting (Urgent, you must be based in Kunming or Dali)
-Designer (website, logo, poster, etc)
-Social Media Operator (Wechat, IG, Facebook)
-Editor (Chinese and English)
-Event Interpreter (Chinese and English)
-Content Writer (Chinese and English)
Paid positions:
-Vegan Food Tour Guide (part time). You must be based in Kunming or Dali, have a good command of English and speak conversational Mandarin.
As the business grows, volunteer positions could lead to paid positions.

Leo Ling, Founder
Living in Yunnan, Leo is a vegan, zero-waste lifestyle practitioner, and off-the-beaten-track traveler! He is the founder of Green Solutions China and Zero Plastic Vegan Tours. When you can't find him biking around in the city or roaming around in a market--he is probably hiding somewhere in a secluded village.

Rachel Dragos, Content Writer
Rachel Dragos is a writer, educator, learner, and traveler. She is based in Guangzhou where she teaches chemistry and physics at an international school. She was born outside Boston and lived in Ohio and San Francisco before moving abroad. Rachel joined Green Solutions China as a volunteer after attending a wet market vegan tour with Leo in Kunming. When Rachel is not teaching, lesson planning, or writing, you can probably find her reading a book or planning her next adventure.

Yuki Zhou, Translator
Yuki is the operations assistant in an international toy company. Born in Kunming, she studied, worked, and traveled in various cities in and out of China. Yuki understands the importance of taking urgent climate action and changed to a plant-based diet. She accidentally found Green Solutions China and is delighted that such an organization exists in her hometown, Kunming. As a translator, she also helps with other activities. Her wish is that more people understand the urgency of environmental issues and work together to take actions that create an eco-friendly and sustainable relationship with nature.

Yilin is a nature lover! Every time she goes somewhere new, she heads to the energetic local wet markets where she loves finding new, exotic things! Spending her childhood in Shenzhen, she witnessed rapid modernization and the disappearance of traditional markets and characteristics of the city. She read an article by Green Solutions China and hopes wet markets in China can retain their fun and traditional quality during urban development. As a vegan, she pays attention to environmental protection. Yilin hopes more people will join in projects to protect our homeland.

Born and raised in the US, Morgan has always felt that living simply, sustainably, and in harmony with nature was the best way to live. After graduating college with a degree in international business, he began a marketing career at a Dutch-based tech company but ultimately felt his work career was misaligned with his tree-hugging passions. That led him to quit his job, move to China, and begin working for a solar company, helping the world transition away from fossil fuels. In his spare time, Morgan enjoys spending his time outdoors, hiking, running, and encouraging others to explore plant-based diets and zero-waste lifestyles.

Coquina is a content writer for several groups focusing on sustainability and education. She writes about the urban environment, the science behind learning, and design solutions for sustainability and learning. As a Singaporean with a deep love for China, she left New York in 2018 to live in Istanbul, with Kunming as her end destination—at least for now!
