赵元任学术思想与跨学科研究

香港理工大学人文学院与中文及双语学系及英语及传播学系合办“语言科学国际研讨会：赵元任学术思想与跨学科研究”。研讨会将于2024年5月10日至11日(星期五及星期六)在香港理大举行。

目标及宗旨

ISLS旨在为语言学和语言科学领域的顶尖学者、研究人员、学生和专业人士提供跨学科对话和思想交流的平台。研讨会将促进对新概念的探索、研究成果的分享，以及建立专业联系。此外，它旨在激励未来几代语言学家和语言科学研究人员继续推进这些领域。

研讨会亦旨在向赵元任教授在语言科学方面的卓越贡献致敬。

Call for Papers

International Symposium on Language Sciences (ISLS):

Interdisciplinary Research and the Legacy of Yuen Ren Chao

(10-11 May 2024)

The Faculty of Humanities at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), in collaboration with the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies and the Department of English and Communication, is pleased to announce the International Symposium on Language Sciences (ISLS): Interdisciplinary Research and the Legacy of Yuen Ren Chao.

The Symposium will take place on 10-11 May 2024 (Friday and Saturday) at PolyU in Hong Kong.

Objectives and Aims

The ISLS aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogues and the exchange of ideas among leading scholars, researchers, students, and professionals in the fields of linguistics and language sciences.

The symposium will foster the exploration of novel concepts, the sharing of research findings, and the establishment of professional connections.

Additionally, it seeks to inspire future generations of linguists and language sciences researchers to continue advancing these fields.

The symposium also intends to pay tribute to the remarkable contributions of Professor Yuen Ren Chao in language sciences.
