英语表示年龄，用了 age,再用old，就是累赞。years可以用，也可以省略。例如：

英语表示"实际年龄"，用current age;表示“形象年龄”，用image age。

由于age除了当“年龄”讲，还有“时代”的意思。因此，mage age具有歧义，还有"图像时代”的意思。例如：
