对外交流|2022年浙江大学-哈佛大学暑期线上课程项目开放报名啦!



基于我院张婵研究员与哈佛大学设计学院Niall Kirkwood教授的合作,我院拟于2022年8月10日-25日举办主题为“社交媒体与建成环境(Social Media and Built Environment)”的线上课程项目,邀请多位来自美国哈佛大学设计学院城市设计、建筑、景观以及艺术领域的知名设计师与研究学者,从学术与实践的角度分享他们的经验与心得。


随着社交媒体在国际范围内的蓬勃发展,其对建成建筑的研究方法、设计审美,和传播效果等诸多方面都具有非常重要的意义。此系列课程讲座将围绕社交媒体和建成环境的相互作用,从城市设计、环境管理、建筑设计、艺术实验、景观实践以及教学理念等方面,对现有的建成环境领域的前沿研究和业界实践展开介绍。本课程旨在为传媒学院的同学们,提供更多来自设计领域的知识,为跨学科的专业实践和理论研究提供思路。本项目获浙江大学“世界顶尖大学合作计划”经费支持。

Eric Höweler 


Founding Principal, Höweler + Yoon Architecture LLP

Associate Professor in Architecture, Harvard Graduate School of Design



Eric Höweler (b. Cali, Colombia) is an architect with over 20 years of experience in practice and an Associate Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He is co-founder of Höweler + Yoon Architecture LLP, a design-driven architecture practice and creative studio that believes design is an instrument for imagining and implementing change – social, cultural, technological, and environmental. Recent projects at Höweler + Yoon Architecture include 212 Stuart St, MIT Museum, and Lithos Hotel. Previously, Eric served as an Associate Principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and was a Senior Designer at Diller + Scofidio.



Niall Kirkwood 


Professor of Landscape Architecture and Technology 

Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Harvard Graduate School of Design



Niall Kirkwood FASLA is Professor of Landscape Architecture and Technology at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) since joining the faculty in 1992. He was educated and licensed as a professional landscape architect in the United Kingdom and the United States. From 2003-2009, he was the thirteenth Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the GSD. From 1999-2003 and 2005-2007, he was Director of the Master’s in Landscape Architecture Degree Programs, and from 1999-2003, he was the coordinator of the “Design and Environment” track of the Master’s in Design Studies Program. He is also currently the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the GSD.



吕晨晨


Harvard CAMLab, Associate Director of Art

Ph.D. Candidate, East Asian Art Program at Harvard University



Chenchen Lu received her Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University in 2010 and Master of Architecture degree from Harvard GSD in 2015. Her research focuses on the spatial conception, visual program and practice of Chinese architecture, especially ritual architecture and Buddhist architecture. She is also the Associate Director of Art of the Harvard Chinese Art Media Lab (CAMLab). The lab focuses on integrating humanistic inquiry with cutting-edge technology and design, and explores innovative, interdisciplinary ways of showcasing art and culture through immersive installations, exhibitions, films, digital publications, and other multimedia forms. 



Julia Smachylo


Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture, Plant Science and Landscape Architecture, University of Connecticut  



Julia is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Connecticut with an academic and professional background in urban planning and design. Her research draws from urban theory, planning and political ecology, and investigates the dynamics of forest management and urbanization with a particular focus on environmental conservation. Julia worked in planning, landscape and urban design offices in London and Toronto, and in 2014 she was deputy curator of the Canadian exhibition at the 2014 Venice Biennale in Architecture with Lateral Office. She is a current Canada Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and is pursuing a Critical Media Practice Secondary Degree at Harvard, which is a joint specialism that integrates media production into her academic work.



Gareth Doherty


Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture, Harvard Graduate School of Design



Gareth Doherty is Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of the Master’s in Landscape Architecture Degree Programs at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Doherty explores and unravels narratives and practices of landscape architecture that have not yet been formally documented. This work is essential to establish the precedents required to diversify the design disciplines and expand upon the limited and limiting traditional design canons. Through a grounded research method Doherty calls “landscape fieldwork,” he employs human and environmental audiences as essential components of design and research in complex landscapes.

2、英语水平良好,能够参与小组讨论、发表报告等。

1、截止时间:即日起至2022年8月9日17:00;


2、课程免费,本科生参与全部课程和完成本科生系统操作可获得第四课堂和国际化模块学分


3、报名流程:

1)本科生同学

完成浙江大学教学管理信息服务平台报名,申请网站:zdbk.zju.edu.cn(使用新版的火狐、谷歌浏览器)。本科生同学完成所有课程要求和浙大系统各环节,并顺利结业后,将获得第四课堂学分。

2)研究生同学

请登陆浙江大学研究生信息系统网站:http://grs.zju.edu.cn/allogene/page/home.htm(使用新版的火狐、谷歌浏览器) 。
