美国国会参议院议长、副总统彭斯刚刚在联席会议上宣布拜登胜选。他表示，拜登“获得306张选票”，特朗普“获得232张选票” 。不过，这一“结果”来之不易。
按计划，美国国会两院将于当地时间1月6日（即北京时间1月7日）召开联席会议，正式清点美国大选选举人团选票。万万没想到，美国大选的最后一步，竟演变成一场混乱而暴力的骚乱。

这场骚乱愈演愈烈，据美国彭博社6日报道，已有4人命丧国会骚乱，其中3人因出现相关病症而死亡，或是因为烟雾弹而出现哮喘症状。随着骚乱活动不断升级，当地时间6日晚间，推特、Facebook、YouTube接连对特朗普的账号出手，删除其发布的视频。
