My Favourite Season

My favourite season is spring because it is very beautiful. In spring, the grass is very green, the buds on the trees are beginning to sprout, and the flowers grow out in many different colours. There are daffodils, tulips, snowdrops, lilies, dandelions, daisies, and lots more. The baby animals are born too, and the birds fly back north from migrating.

Some of the hibernating animals like bears, badgers, hedgehogs, frogs, and squirrels are starting to come out. The blossoms on the trees are very pink like they are enjoying the warmth of the sunshine too. In the spring, it is warmer than in winter.

The people mostly come out to enjoy the sunshine in spring. In the southern hemisphere, spring is in autumn. The days are getting longer and brighter in spring. Spring also has holidays like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, April Fool’s Day, and Easter. In spring, it’s like we It is usually a very happy and wonderful season with lots of bright and colourful things like nature. The grass is often filled with lots of colourful flowers. Spring comes after winter and before summer.
