China's Epic Journey from Poverty to Prosperity
9月28日，国务院新闻办公室发表《中国的全面小康》白皮书。白皮书指出，全面建成小康社会，是迈向中华民族伟大复兴的关键一步。
China's State Council Information Office issued a white paper on Sept 28 to document the country's journey to moderate prosperity in all respects, or Xiaokang. The white paper, titled "China's Epic Journey from Poverty to Prosperity," said the realization of moderate prosperity in all respects, as declared in July, marks a critical step towards national rejuvenation for the country.

中央人才工作会议9月27日至28日在北京召开。中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平出席会议并发表重要讲话，强调要坚持党管人才，深入实施新时代人才强国战略，加快建设世界重要人才中心和创新高地。
President Xi Jinping has stressed efforts to implement the strategy on developing a quality workforce in the new era and to accelerate the work to build China into a major world center of professional talent and innovation. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when speaking at a central conference on talent-related work, which was held on Sept 27 and Sept 28. Xi underlined the CPC's leadership over talent management.

President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on Sept 26. Xi emphasized that China is willing to work with other countries to shoulder the historical responsibility of promoting human progress by stimulating the digital economy vitality, enhancing the digital government efficiency, optimizing the digital social environment, setting up a digital cooperation structure, and building a strong digital security shield. China is also willing to work with other countries in the world to make the digital civilization benefit people of all countries, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for humankind.

President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, on September 24 called on all countries to strengthen openness and cooperation in science and technology. Xi made the remarks while delivering a speech via video at the opening ceremony of the 2021 Zhongguancun Forum, which is scheduled from September 24 to 28 in Beijing.

All athletes and games participants who are fully vaccinated will enter a closed-loop management system upon arrival. Games participants who are not fully vaccinated will have to serve a 21-day quarantine upon arrival in Beijing.

All vaccines recognized by World Health Organization or related international organizations, or approved officially by countries or regions concerned will be accepted. Athletes who can provide a justified medical exemption will have their cases considered.
