双语丨习近平在博鳌亚洲论坛2022年年会开幕式上的主旨演讲重要语汇汉英对照

4月21日上午，博鳌亚洲论坛2022年年会开幕式在海南博鳌举行，国家主席习近平以视频方式发表题为《携手迎接挑战，合作开创未来》的主旨演讲。中国外文局所属当代中国与世界研究院、中国翻译研究院根据中央媒体及机构发布的中英文内容，围绕讲话中的重要语汇，整理形成汉英对照版，供业界及相关人员参考使用。

人类历史告诉我们，越是困难时刻，越要坚定信心。任何艰难曲折都不能阻挡历史前进的车轮。

We need to work together to defend people’s lives and health.

全球安全倡议

为了促进世界安危与共，中方愿在此提出全球安全倡议：

To promote security for all in the world, China would like to propose a Global Security Initiative as follows:

• 坚持共同、综合、合作、可持续的安全观，共同维护世界和平和安全；

stay committed to the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, and work together to maintain world peace and security;

• 坚持尊重各国主权、领土完整，不干涉别国内政，尊重各国人民自主选择的发展道路和社会制度；

stay committed to respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, uphold non-interference in internal affairs, and respect the independent choices of development paths and social systems made by people in different countries;

• 坚持遵守联合国宪章宗旨和原则，摒弃冷战思维，反对单边主义，不搞集团政治和阵营对抗；

stay committed to abiding by the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, reject the Cold War mentality, oppose unilateralism, and say no to group politics and bloc confrontation;

• 坚持重视各国合理安全关切，秉持安全不可分割原则，构建均衡、有效、可持续的安全架构，反对把本国安全建立在他国不安全的基础之上；

stay committed to taking the legitimate security concerns of all countries seriously, uphold the principle of indivisible security, build a balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture, and oppose the pursuit of one’s own security at the cost of others’ security;

• 坚持通过对话协商以和平方式解决国家间的分歧和争端，支持一切有利于和平解决危机的努力，不能搞双重标准，反对滥用单边制裁和“长臂管辖”；

stay committed to peacefully resolving differences and disputes between countries through dialogue and consultation, support all efforts conducive to the peaceful settlement of crises, reject double standards, and oppose the wanton use of unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction;

• 坚持统筹维护传统领域和非传统领域安全，共同应对地区争端和恐怖主义、气候变化、网络安全、生物安全等全球性问题。

stay committed to maintaining security in both traditional and non-traditional domains, and work together on regional disputes and global challenges such as terrorism, climate change, cybersecurity and biosecurity.

安全是发展的前提，人类是不可分割的安全共同体。

Security is the precondition for development. We humanity are living in an indivisible security community. 

世界各国乘坐在一条命运与共的大船上，要穿越惊涛骇浪、驶向光明未来，必须同舟共济，企图把谁扔下大海都是不可接受的。

Countries around the world are like passengers aboard the same ship who share the same destiny. For the ship to navigate the storm and sail toward a bright future, all passengers must pull together. The thought of throwing anyone overboard is simply not acceptable.

中国经济韧性强、潜力足、回旋余地广、长期向好的基本面不会改变，将为世界经济企稳复苏提供强大动能，为各国提供更广阔的市场机会。

The fundamentals of the Chinese economy -- its strong resilience, enormous potential, vast room for maneuver and long-term sustainability -- remain unchanged. They will provide great dynamism for the stability and recovery of the world economy and broader market opportunities for all countries.

中国将始终不渝坚持走和平发展道路，始终做世界和平的建设者、全球发展的贡献者、国际秩序的维护者。

China will unswervingly follow the path of peaceful development, and always be a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of the international order.

安危不贰其志，险易不革其心。

One must not change his commitment or give up his pursuit even in the face of danger and risk.

治国常富，而乱国常贫。

Stability brings a country prosperity while instability leads a country to poverty.

遇山一起爬，遇沟一起跨。

Climb the hill together and go down the ravine together.

甘蔗同穴生，香茅成丛长。

Sugarcane and lemongrass grow in dense clumps.

日日行，不怕千万里；常常做，不怕千万事。

Keep walking and one will not be daunted by a thousand miles; make constant efforts and one will not be intimidated by a thousand tasks.
