北区D4 纳米、AI与夯土技艺有机结合的一天 | 汇丰“未来之星”冬令营系列报道
2019年1月30日(周三),汇丰“未来之星”冬令营开启了第四天行程。短短一天内,营员们先后参访了中国科学院苏州纳米技术与纳米仿生研究所、上海交通大学苏州人工智能研究院和位于浙江湖州市安吉剑山村的泥土(夯土)学校。行程满满的一天中营员们也收获颇丰,下面就让我们与大家一起分享这忙碌而充实的一天。
On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, HSBC's "Future Star" winter camp started its forth day. Campers visited the Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (abbreviated as SINANO), the Suzhou AI Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University and Rammed Earth School located at Jianshan Village in Anji county of Zhejiang Province within one day. Campers gained a lot during this busy day. Now let's share some impressive moments with everyone.

中科院苏州纳米所:小纳米大未来
SINANO: Small Nano & Big Future
早晨,汇丰“未来之星”冬令营北区全体导师、营员和工作人员前往中科院苏州纳米所进行参访。
All mentors, campers and staff of HSBC “Future Star” Winter Camp in the north district arrived at SINANO to pay a visit at 9:00 am.
中国科学院苏州纳米技术与纳米仿生研究所(简称:中科院苏州纳米所)于2006年由中国科学院、江苏省人民政府、苏州市人民政府和苏州工业园区四方共同出资组建。
The Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (abbreviated as SINANO) was co-founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, the People’s Government of Suzhou City and Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) in 2006.
中科院苏州纳米所采取“院地共建”策略,坚持科技创新与引领产业发展相结合,为苏州及长三角地区经济社会发展提供有力的技术支撑。
SINANO carried on “CAS-Provincial Collaboration” strategy, insisting on combining scientific and technological innovation with leading industrial development and offering strong technical support to the economic and social development of Suzhou and the Yangtze river delta region.
跟随讲解员的步伐,营员们学习了中科院苏州纳米所的发展历程、现状,以及纳米技术不同领域的研究进展与相关应用。
Following the instructors, the campers learned about the history of development and current situation of SINANO, as well as the research progress and related application of nanotechnology in different fields.
目前,中科院苏州纳米所编制规模为1500人,高层次人才中90%具有海外经历,国家“千人计划”就有23人在苏州纳米所。
At present, there are 1,500 staff at SINANO, 90% of high-level talents have overseas experience, and 23 people are awarded "The Thousand Talents Plan".
同时中科院苏州纳米所注重学研结合,成立了中国科学技术大学苏州纳米技术与纳米仿生学院以培养研究生,同时拥有博士后流动站,给予各层次人才学习研究的平台。
At the same time, SINANO attaches great importance to the combination of study and research. It has established Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nanometer Bionics of USTC to train postgraduates, and has a postdoctoral research center, providing a platform for talents from all levels to study and research.
中科院苏州纳米所拥有诸多国家重点实验室,如中国科学院纳米器件与应用重点实验室、中国科学院纳米-生物界面重点实验室等。
SINANO has many state laboratories, such as Key Laboratory of Nano-Devices and Applications, CAS, Key Laboratory of Nano-Bio Interface, CAS, and so on.
作为发展迅速的新兴科学技术,纳米技术可以渗透到几乎所有学科,拥有广阔的应用前景。如,在材料领域,中科院苏州纳米所使用纳米技术开发的轻量化纳米碳材料、热管理材料、智能材料等均在工业上有广泛应用;在仿生学领域,仿生驱动人工肌肉、柔性仿生传感器等也富有应用潜力。另外在能源领域、印刷电子技术领域,纳米技术均有一席之地。
As a rapidly developing technology, nanotechnology can permeate almost all disciplines and has a broad application prospect. For example, in the field of materials, light-weight nano-carbon materials, thermal management materials and smart materials developed by SINANO have been widely used in different industry. What’s more, in the field of bionics, artificial muscles and flexible bionic sensors also show great potential. In addition, nanotechnology has great potential in the field of energy and printed electronics.
中科院苏州纳米所还拥有国内最大的开放式微纳米加工公共服务平台,以及测试分析平台、纳米生化平台,为国家及地方各级科技项目研发和企业产品开发提供技术支撑。
SINANO also owns the largest user facility that offers micro/nano-fabrication services, as well as platform for characterization and analysis, nano-bio-chem platform, providing technical support for national and local science and technology research and innovation of enterprises‘ products.
中科院苏州纳米所将科技创新与科学普及放在同等重要的位置,其展示馆既有科教意义,又展现出其强硬的科研实力。
SINANO puts scientific and technological innovation and scientific popularization in the same important position. Its exhibition hall not only has scientific and educational significance, but also shows its strong scientific research strength. We believe that nanotechnology will make great contribution to the field of sustainable development.
参观结束后,营员们参加了题为“小纳米撬动大未来”的讲座。讲座主要围绕“纳米思维、认识纳米、纳米仿生、纳米技术的应用”展开。
After the visit, campers attended a lecture entitled "small nano leveraging big future". The lecture focuses mainly on "nano thinking, understanding nano, nano bionics, and applications of nanotechnology".
营员们从生动易懂的案例和讲解中充分认识到了纳米技术的广泛应用和广阔前景,同时坚信纳米技术一定会在可持续发展领域做出更大的贡献。
Campers fully realized the wide application and broad prospect of nanotechnology from vivid and understandable cases and explanations, and firmly believed that nanotechnology would make greater contributions in the field of sustainable development.

上午第二站我们来到了上海交通大学苏州人工智能研究院,这里被誉为终身学习中心。展厅里陈列了研究院所获的众多荣誉奖项和有趣的智能产品。在这里郎海舰郎总为我们从简要介绍了研究院的运营方,由剑桥大学校友创立的苏州思必驰信息科技有限公司。
After the visit of SINANO, we came to Suzhou research institute of artificial intelligence of Shanghai Jiaotong University, which is honored as a lifelong learning center. The exhibition hall showcases many honors and awards won by the research institute and interesting intelligent products. Mr. Lang gave a brief introduction of the company named AISPEECH, which was founded by Cambridge alumni and operates the research institute.
思必驰的寓意即思想必将超过行动,就如闪电终将超过雷声。其宗旨在于沟通万物和打理万事。沟通万物,简单来说就是指实现人机界面交互,打理万事则是指发展智能客服。
The moral of AISPEECH is that thought will surpass action, just as lightning will surpass thunder. Its purpose is to communicate everything and take care of everything. Communicating everything is to achieve human-computer interaction, and taking care of everything is to develop intelligent customer service.
郎总介绍道,智能客服具有很重要的社会价值,例如采用人工智能解决电话回访的问题,除了可以减少人力,还能使顾客享受最耐心的服务,同时能对语音文明、服务态度等进行监测。郎总补充道,这需要搭建底层知识库,实现人工智能的信息搜索。
Mr. Lang said that intelligent customer service has very important social value. Companies can use artificial intelligence to solve the problem of call-back, which would not only reduce manpower, enable customers to enjoy the most patient service, but also monitor voice civilization, service attitude. Lang added that it is necessary to build the underlying knowledge base and realize the information search by artificial intelligence.
思必驰的综合实力较强,大概具有50亿人民币估值,曾获得阿里巴巴集团的两轮投资。
Valued at about 5 billion yuan, AISPEECH has been invested in two rounds by Alibaba, with a strong comprehensive strength.
该公司目前具有明显的市场优势,在若干垂直市场占有率位居第一,例如车联网的后装,智能音箱,智能学习机等。其生产的知识机器人、智能客服等均能赢得标杆大客户。
The company has made great market advantages by now, including ranking the first in several vertical market shares, such as the installation of aftermarket telecoms, intelligent speakers, intelligent learning machine, etc. Their products like knowledge robots and intelligent customer service both can win benchmark customers.
简单参观后,郎总为我们带来一场精彩的讲座,不仅向我们展示了思必驰在企业文化影响下的开放式办公环境,还介绍了思必驰的生态布局。
After a short visit, Mr. Lang gave us a wonderful lecture, which not only showed us the open working environment under the influence of corporate culture, but also introduced the ecological layout of AISPEECH.
此外,讲座中的很多小视频带我们直观地了解了先进技术的应用场景,引发大家浓厚的兴趣。讲座最后同学们踊跃提问,在与郎总的问答互动中收获颇多。
In addition, many short videos played during the lecture, led us to intuitively understand the application of advanced technology scenarios, which strongly intrigue everyone. At the end of the lecture, students raised questions actively and got a lot of benefits from Q&As with Mr. Lang.

泥土(夯土)学校:生态乡村之路
Rammed Earth School:
The road to ecological village
下午,北区营员前往湖州安吉剑山村参访泥土(夯土)学校。营员被分为两队,分别前后参观泥土(夯土)学校、听取创始人任卫中老师的讲座。
In the afternoon, Campers from North District visited Rammed Earth School in Jianshan Village, Anji, Huzhou City.
The camp members were divided into two teams. Then each team visited the clay school and listened to the lecture of the founder, Mr. Ren Weizhong.
任老师在讲座中先介绍了泥土(夯土)学校的日常,表示泥土学校在生产接待研学的餐食中会融入节能减废的理念,让工作和生活融为一体,非常符合乡村振兴业态。
In the lecture, Mr. Ren, the founder, introduced the daily life of Rammed Earth School at the beginning. He said the school integrates energy saving and waste reduction into the production, reception, research and dining. They managed to combine work with life, which is in line with the rural revitalization business mode.
随后任老师谈到建立泥土(夯土)学校的初衷及现有的建筑技术。
近年来,钢筋混泥土构房在乡村兴起,但大量采砂破坏了乡村生态,而且与乡村风貌并不协调,还带来大量无法降解的建筑垃圾。而泥土建房,不仅能充分利用废土,还更具自然美感,拆除后也可自然降解。
Then, Mr. Ren talked about his original intention of establishing Rammed Earth School and its existing technology.
In recent years, reinforced concrete construction becomes popular in rural area. However, a large scale of sand mining has destroyed the rural ecological environment. A large number of reinforced concrete houses are not in harmony with the rural environment. Besides, they bring tons of non-degradable construction waste. The rammed-earth technique helps reduce solid waste and enhance beauty of the buildings. It is also bio-degradable.
这也正是任先生多年来推广乡村生态建筑的初衷。
Actually, to popularize rural ecological architecture has been Mr. Ren's original intention for many years. Rammed Earth School is his masterpiece.
泥土(夯土)学校现有夯土,泥抹面,竹片泥墙等多项技术,能使房屋具有自然协调的纹理和色彩,且更加耐水耐火。
The school possesses the technologies related to mud, such as rammed earth, mud plaster, bamboo-mud walls and other technologies, which not only makes the house have natural and harmonious texture and color, but also makes it more resistant to water and fire.
参观过程中,营员了解了更多泥土(夯土)学校的细节,还亲自动手实践夯土墙。
After the lecture, the campers paid a closer visit to the school, learning more details and trying to make a rammed earth wall by themselves. The waste bricks were fully utilized to reduce waste and save energy.
在此次参访中,最令人动容的是任先生对泥土的实践与思考,正如他所说:“泥土是最高级的、最生态的材料;泥土建筑是跟乡村最为协调的。”
During the visit to Rammed Earth School, the campers were moved by Mr. Ren's thoughts on earth and his exploration and practice in earth technology. As he said, "earth is the most advanced and most ecological material. Earth buildings are well coordinated with the countryside.”
