Zara也“辱华”了？“辱华”的门槛，有那么低吗？
最近，又一时尚品牌因涉嫌辱华而引起广泛争议。
这次是Zara。
The costume and cosmetics brand Zara has been rebuked by netizens recently because one of its advertisements, in which a female Chinese model with freckles on her face appeared, was blamed for "defaming the Chinese".
近日，一些网友指责服装和化妆品品牌Zara“诋毁中国人”，因为其一则广告中出现了一名脸上长有雀斑的中国女模特。

The advertisement was released on Friday on Zara's official website. Titled Beauty is Here, it stars a Chinese woman wearing the brand's clothes and aims to introduce the company's new cosmetics.
这则题为“美在这里”的广告于2月15日在Zara的官方网站上发布，一名身穿该品牌服装的中国女性担任模特，旨在介绍该公司的新化妆品。
在Zara的官方微博上，也放出了这则广告的“同款”。
从广告照片中能清晰看到中国面孔女模特脸上的雀斑：
没想到的是，这则本是想要卖口红的广告，却因为模特这张看似不甚“完美”的脸让一些网友的注意力跑偏：
Yet, after Zara shared it on Sina Weibo, in some of the comments it was noted that the model had freckles on her face, suggesting that by selecting her as the model, Zara might mean to "defame the Chinese", because they believe that a perfect face should be without any freckles.
然而，在Zara新浪微博发布广告后，一些评论指出，模特脸上有雀斑，暗示Zara选择她作为模特可能是想“诋毁中国人”，因为他们认为完美的脸上不应该有雀斑。
有D&G辱华宣传片在前，这位模特不太符合大众审美的“雀斑脸”触动了一些网友的神经。
要知道，去年Zara还因为错标台湾为“国家”一事中陷入争议。
据报道，Zara网站(zara.cn)“JION LIFE”栏目下的“收取衣服”选项介绍中，将台湾称为“国家”。Zara当晚更改了页面信息并道歉。
一些网友认为，Zara此番挑选这位模特，是在“丑化中国人”“丑化亚洲人”：

一些评论甚至猜测Zara可能会像去年11月意大利品牌D&G那样有意“侮辱”中国。
但点赞数更多的评论则是在和这种“辱华论”唱反调，认为美其实是有很多种，模特长着雀斑脸也很美，这样的神经敏感实际上没有必要：
受到“辱华指控”的Zara也很快对此事做出了回应。
Zara方面表示，没有刻意去丑化亚洲女性，宣传是面向全球而不是针对中国市场，模特是西班牙（总部）选的，审美观不同，照片没有经过PS：
Zara took the criticism seriously and responded on Saturday that it meant no harm. The company said photos of the model were taken in an all-natural way without any software manipulation, and the reactions might just be differences in aesthetics.
Zara很重视这些评论，并于2月16日回应说并无恶意。该公司表示，模特的照片是自然状态下拍摄的，没有经过任何软件处理，人们的反应可能只是审美上的差异。
截至发稿，“Zara回应丑化中国模特”的标签（the hashtag #Zara responds about the Chinese model advertisement# ）已经在新浪微博上被阅读了5亿次，成为热门话题之一。
本来可能只是国际品牌的一次“水土不服”的宣传，而今被一些网友上升为“辱华事件”，双语君（微信ID：Chinadaily_Mobile）想说，我们一直在说文化自信，而包容正是文化自信中不可或缺的一部分：
It might be understandable that those who complain about Zara’s new advertisement might do so to prevent the nation’s image from being hurt. However, their deeds show over-sensitivity and a lack of cultural confidence. It shows they are so afraid of being hurt that they tend to take a defensive gesture against any slight, real or imagined.
这些跑到Zara微博下抗议的网友，或许确实在很努力地爱国，见不得跟祖国有关的事情有一丁点不好。可是爱国的方式有很多种，非跟一个模特脸上的雀斑过不去，就未免有些狭隘了。
Tolerance is an essential part of cultural confidence. Only when we learn to tolerate each other in terms of aesthetics, will cultural confidence be owned by everyone.
包容正是文化自信的重要方面。审美上怎么就不能包容一点呢？有人喜欢雀斑，有人不喜欢，这是很正常的，千万不要上升到“丑化”“辱华”的高度。
而不少人不知道的是，本次Zara广告中的模特李静雯是位曾斩获大奖的专业模特。说她长了张“辱华”的脸，似乎对她本人也不是一件公平的事。
Besides, the model in the incident, Li Jingwen, is a famous one who has been a professional model for a long time.
更何况，这次出镜的中国模特李静雯也是16岁就出道的专业人士，斩获不止一项大奖，从来没有哪位评委觉得她脸上的雀斑是个问题。
To those who criticize her freckled face, their comments might be hurtful to her, too, although they might not mean that.
就因为她脸上有雀斑，就觉得是丑化亚洲女性、中国女性了，那对她个人公平否？她招谁惹谁了？
但从这次事件中，我们似乎也能看出中西审美观的不同。曾经有网站总结道，东亚文化圈喜欢“瓷娃娃”般的脸庞，而西方人喜欢不经修饰的“自然脸”。
诚然，这样的归类难免有点忽略个体差异的意思，但是这两种审美本无优劣可言。
Actually, just like some media outlets have summarized, Chinese and Westerners have quite different standards when it comes to the definition of "beauty". For many Westerners, freckles on the face are natural and attractive, but many Chinese, Japanese, or South Koreas believe a beautiful face should be "flawless".
曾有网站总结过东西审美观的不同，说西方人更喜欢自然的脸庞，而东亚文化圈的中日韩更期待一张漂亮的、纯洁无瑕脸庞。
It is meaningless to compare the two and say which is better, because true beauty is often a combination of both, namely pursuing a good face while accepting its imperfections if there are any.
首先，这只是一种统计现象而已，并不是每个人都这么想；其次，这两种审美观也没有优劣，现实中可能更多的是二者兼有，一方面追求更好的面容，另一方面也大胆地接受其不完美的现实。
还有笑话说，东方人对精致无暇脸庞的追求也说明了韩国的整容业为何发达，韩国人也没少因此自黑。
