【为什么叫工作室画廊？】工作室是艺术家工作的地方，也是艺术家真正发光的地方，因为我们深信只有切实的工作才能带来对这个世界崭新的想象和对未来不断改变的诉求！

[Why name it StudioGallery?] Studio is the place where artist works, and where makes artist shine! We believe only unceasing practical work can bring about a brand-new vision of this world and an ever-changing demand for the future!

【我们是谁？】工作室画廊是2016年初创立于有着百年人文历史的愚园路，后迁址法租界内兴国路，目前画廊运营着兴国路及江栀路两处实体空间。兴国路空间以展览项目为主，江栀路空间以艺术家工作室驻地项目为主。

[Who are we?] StudioGallery was founded in 2016 on Yuyuan Lu which has a century of humanistic history. It has since moved to the Former French Concession at Xingguo Lu. At present, the gallery operates two entity spaces: Xingguo Lu Space is focusing on exhibition programs while Jiangzhi Lu Space is concentrating on artist residence projects.

【有什么不同？】工作室画廊以艺术家真实的工作状态和思考为核心价值开展驻地项目和展览项目。旨在不断反思当代全球化语境下艺术文化生态的失衡，致力于创造一个艺术家做创作，思考创作，聊创作等完全基于真实工作经验之上的艺术发声平台。通过国内外艺术家、策展人的驻地工作体会与真实纪录，不断充实画廊的研究、教育及出版项目。

[Any difference?] Studio Gallery takes artists' real working experiences and thoughts as its core value to carry out the residence projects and exhibition programs. By reflecting on the unbalanced environment of contemporary art and culture in the context of globalization. The gallery is dedicated to constructing a platform for artists' voice to convey their real working state and intellectual strength. We conduct our exhibitions, publications, research and educational programs with the objective documentation and steady experience of international artists and curators from our not-for-profit residence projects.
