Seychelles is an island republic in the Indian Ocean. It has about 115 islands, with beautiful beaches, a wide variety of marine life, and rich tropical vegetation.

To protect the environment and eco-systems in this country, almost half of the landmass in the country is occupied by national parks and reserves.

The flag of Seychelles features five different colored bands, blue represents the sea and the sky, yellow represents the sun, red stands for determination and courage of the people, white is a symbol of harmony and social justice, and green represents the natural environment.
