It is really hard to come up with a complete list of all the attractions in the U.S. in one post, but I have put together more than you'll ever need to explore the country. Here is a list of more than 101 must-visit places in the U.S.

用一篇文章来列出在美国所有景点很难,但在这篇文章中我会尽量列出探索这个国家最受欢迎的旅游胜地。以下是在美国超过一百零一个必游景点的清单。

 

Alaska 阿拉斯加


Alaska is big and has many attractions. From natural beauty to museums here are some of the best places to visit in Alaska.

Denali National Park 德纳利国家公园

 

 

Denali National Park is one of the largest national parks in the United States. The wide river valleys, tundra, high alpine ranges, and glacier draped mountains are some of the things that provide for a great view.

德纳利国家公园是美国最大的国家公园之一。宽阔的河谷、苔原、高寒山脉和冰川覆盖的山脉都是绝佳景观。

 

Tracy Arm Fjord 特雷西阿姆峡湾

 

 

Tracy Arm fjord is a popular destination for cruise ships and boat tours. A fjord alongside glaciers, waterfalls down the sharp rock walls and glaciers calve creating small icebergs. Wildlife sighting is also common, e.g. brown bear, moose, whales and seals.

The university offers more than one million historical artifacts and natural history pieces. Some of them are archaeological finds from prehistoric cultures, a bird collection, and paleontology specimens.

Inside Passage 内湾峡道

 


Inside Passage offers a beautiful scenery of glaciers, mountains, ocean, and wildlife. It is also inhabited by the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples.

The center provides a chance to witness the lives and values of Alaska’s 11 major cultural groups. The scenic lake Tiulana is surrounded by traditional dwellings of Alaska Natives.

Sedona is located in the middle of the Arizona desert. Attractions include canyons, red rock formations, resorts and spas.

The Wave is a rusty red and sun gold sandstone across Arizona’s high desert. It is best for hiking, camping, wildlife viewing and photography.

White Pocket is a beautiful and remote, packed with rich white, red, orange, and pink formations. It is only accessible by ATVs or high wheelbase 4-wheel vehicles.

Disneyland Park was opened on July 17, 1955, it is the oldest Disney Park in the world. It is the only theme park designed and built to completion under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.

Big Sur 大苏尔

 


Here, Santa Lucia Mountains rise abruptly from the Pacific Ocean which creates a dramatic scenery. They have been called one of the most beautiful coastlines anywhere in the world, an isolated stretch of road, mythic in reputation.

Channel Islands National Park 海峡群岛国家公园

 

 

Channel Islands National Park includes five islands that are often referred to as the American Galapagos.

Death Valley National Park 死亡谷国家公园

 

 

In 1849 emigrants going to California's goldfields were lost into the 193 km long basin, enduring two months of hunger, thirst and awful silence. One of the last to leave, looked down from a mountain at the narrow valley and said, "Good-bye, DeathValley." The graben is full of rocks sculptured by erosion, mudstone hills and canyons, luminous sand dunes, lush oases, and a salt pan surrounded by mountains. Rock art and artifacts indicate a human presence dating back to at least 9,000 years.

The park is named after the Joshua trees (Yucca brevifolia) native to the Mojave Desert. Joshua Tree National Park is best known for its iconic flora and super clear desert night sky for stargazing.

Lake Tahoe 太浩湖

 

 

Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake on the state line between California and Nevada. It is the second deepest lake in the United States after Crater Lake in Oregon.

Napa Valley 纳帕谷

 

 

Napa Valley is one of the premier wine regions in the world. Records of commercial wine production in the region date back to the nineteenth century, but premium wine production dates back only tothe 1960s.

San Diego is the eighth-largest city in the United States and second-largest in California. It is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, and extensive beaches.

San Francisco旧金山

 

 

San Francisco is one of the few truly international cities in the US. The city’s well-known hills offer stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, and feature a wide array of shops, restaurants, and cosmopolitan nightlife. The consistently spring-like weather and unique atmosphere attract corporations as well as visitors. Some of the attractions here include the Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, San Francisco Botanical Garden, Museum of Science, Art and Human Perception, Palace of Fine Arts, Japanese Tea Garden, Legion of Honor, San Francisco Zoo, etc.

The park contains the highest point in the contiguous United States, Mount Whitney, at 4421 meters above sea level. UNESCO designated the areas as Sequoia-Kings Canyon Biosphere Reserve in 1976.

Sonoma 索诺玛

 

 

Sonoma is a center of California's wine industry in the Sonoma Valley AVA. It is similarly known as the home of the Sonoma International Film Festival and for its historic town plaza, a remnant of the town's Mexican colonial past.

Monuments and memorials, true local flavor are all features of Washington, DC. It’s filled to the brim with free museums, award-winning restaurants and more.
