According to the Shenzhen Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Center, the city has completed the one-week citywide testing for all residents 3 times. This means that the city has basically tested all residents in the city and cleared all active source of infections. Still though, the risk of infection is high, but controllable.
In order to achieve the maximum prevention and control effect at the least cost to citizens and the city, below are new measures that will take effect from tomorrow.
1. Restore Production and Social Life
Government organs, enterprises and institutions, factories and industries, social life, and public transportation will resume operations.
2. Reopening While Maintaining Strict Epidemic Prevention and Control Measures
Strict epidemic prevention and control measures will still be implemented in controlled areas such as south of Binhe Road, east of Qiaocheng East Road and west of Hongling South Road in Futian district. These areas will be cleared according to the local notices on the epidemic situation.
Community control measures such as temperature measurement, health code inspection, wearing masks, as well as scanning venue codes and showing a proof of negative nucleic acid test taken within 48 hours will still be implemented in the city.
Public places control measures will still be implemented. Closed public spaces which are not essential for daily life will remain closed. Students and child care services, as well as offline training centers will remain suspended.
Catering services will be restricted to a 50% capacity.
Essential areas such as farmer's markets, pharmacies, wholesale markets, shopping malls and supermarkets will be opened in an orderly manner with strict control measures such as body temperature screening, venue code scanning and social distancing.
To access all kinds of public places and public transport one must hold a proof of a negative nucleic acid test certificate taken within 48 hour.
All types of gatherings will be controlled. In principle, large-scale activities and forums will be put on hold temporarily, and group activities will be strictly controlled to reduce gatherings. Citizens are advised to reduce outings and not go out if not necessary.
All other basic personal epidemic prevention and control measures must be observed by individuals at all times and if one feels uncomfortable, they must rush to a nearby clinic or health center for a health check-up.
This notice shall come into effect on March 21 and will last till March 27.
