比么（不合规的）

Beamer (illegal)

这种球是以很快的速度在击球手腰部以上没有弹跳情况下投球的。投球手打这种球会被警告，也被称为“坏球”。

Such balls are bowled at fast speed and is above the waist height of the batter without bouncing. Bowler is warned for such balls and also it called as no ball.

短球

Bouncer

在击球员的肋骨和头部之间弹起的球称为短球。对于投球手和击球手来说，它既有效率又有风险。

Ball which is directed between rib cage and head of a batter after it bounces is called bouncer. It is productive as well as risky ball for both bowler and batter.

直投球

Full toss

直投球是非常危险的投球。在试图投脚前球时，很多时候的投杀都是无意间发生的。这样的球到达击球手时没有投球，这使得他们更容易击球。在投直投球时巧妙改变球的速度可以到一个三柱门。

Full toss is very risky ball to bowl. Many a times it is bowled unintentionally while trying to bowl Yorker balls. Such balls reaches the batter without pitching which makes it easier for them to hit. Full toss bowled with clever change in speed of the ball might fetch a wicket.

内弧线球

Inswing

投球手放球后，球向击球员身体旋转。这个球和脚前球结合在一起是致命的。投内弧线球将球的接缝线朝向腿侧，使球的光泽侧朝向远离击球手的方向。随着表面和接缝的方向，投球手的跟随（球释放后）也很重要。对于内弧线球，球被释放后，用来传递球的手应向大腿内侧移动。

After bowler releases the ball, it swings towards the body of the batter. This ball is lethal when combined with Yorker. Inswing ball is bowled by directing seam towards leg side and shining side of the ball is facing the direction away from batter. Along with the direction of surface and seam, follow through (after release of the ball) action of the bowler is also important. For inswing, after the ball is released, hand used to deliver the ball should move in the direction of inner thigh. 

不旋转球

Knuckleball

Technique of knuckleball in cricket is adopted from baseball. Ball is gripped in knuckles and is bowled little slower than the normal speed. This kind of delivery is very unpredictable.

Legcutter

当球在投球后离开击球手时，就称为腿切球。这种投球叫接缝投球。

When the ball after pitching, moves away from the batter, it is called leg cutter. Such kind of bowling is called seam bowling.

接缝垂直固定，中指沿缝放置，食指距缝约2厘米。球停在拇指和中指之间。当球被释放时，食指和中指沿着球的一侧向下移动，拇指在球的下方转动，在球上产生旋转。

Seam is held in vertically, the middle finger is placed along the seam with the index finger about two centimetres away. The ball rests between the thumb and the third finger. As the ball is released the index and middle finger work down the side of the ball so that the thumb passes round under the ball, generating spin on the ball.

断球

Off cutter

当球投出界外后向击球手移动时，称为断球。

When the ball after pitching outside the line of off stump and moves towards the batter, it is called off cutter.

接缝垂直固定，食指沿缝放置，中指距缝约2厘米。拇指在球的下面，也在接缝上，球靠在中指上。当球被释放时，食指和中指沿着球的一侧向下移动，这样拇指就可以越过球的顶部。

Seam is held vertically, the index fingeris placed along the seam with the middle finger about two centimetres away. The thumb is underneath the ball, also on the seam, and the ball rests against the third finger. As the ball is released, the index and middle finger work down the side of the ball so that the thumb passes over the top of the ball.

外旋球

Outswinger

投球手放球后，球从球棒上落下。如果在适当的线和长度内投球，击球手很难处理这种球。

After bowler releases the ball, it swings away from the bat. Such bowls if bowled in proper line and at proper length are very difficult to be handled by the batter.

Grip the ball with the first two fingers close together on the seam, with the seam in a vertical position. The thumb should be on the seam underneath. Unlike the inswing, point the seam of the ball towards the slips with the shiny side of the ball to the right of the seam. Your action will play a big role if you want the ball to swing. If you have a side-on action when you reach the crease, you'll have a greater chance of moving the ball in the air. For outswing, after the ball is released, hand used to deliver the ball should move away from the front foot.

回旋球

Reverse swing

一旦球变旧或磨损更严重，它将开始向相反的方向移动，通常它会在投球握柄没有很大变化的情况下旋转。例如，外弧线球的握柄会向空中的击球手移动，而内弧线球的握柄则会远离击球手。与正常的球击相比，这种挥杆发生的时间非常晚，这使得击球手很难察觉空中的变化。

Once the ball becomes older and more worn, it will begin to move in the opposite direction to where it would usually swing with no great change in the bowling grip. For example, outswing's grip will move towards the batsman in the air while an inswing will move away from the bat. This swing happens very late as compared to normal swings in the balls, making it difficult for the batter to pick up the changes in the air.

不是每一个投球手都能获得回旋球，球速度必须在80英里/小时左右才能实现回旋。

Not every single bowler can obtain reverse swing speed of the ball has to be around 80mph to achieve reverse swing.

慢速球

Slower ball

慢速球的投球速度比正常球慢。意图是欺骗击球手，让他们提前击球。旋转球可以增加更多的惊喜元素。

Slower ball is bowled at lower speed then the normal. Intention is to deceive the batter and make them play their shots earlier. More element of surprise can be added by spinning the ball. 

脚前球

Yorker

脚前球是最难投球的。球拟在球棒底部附近投出，让击球手难以打球。通常脚前球不处理好就变成了击球手很容易处理的直投球。

Yorker sare the most difficult balls to be bowled. Ball is intended to be pitched nearthe base of the bat to make it difficult for batter to play. Often Yorkers not bowled properly becomes full toss for the batter and is easy to handle.
