Ron Pressman已经履职城市土地学会(ULI)担任全球首席执行官。此前,Pressman担任美国教师退休基金会机构金融服务 (TIAA Institutional Financial Services) 的首席执行官,领导该公司为机构客户提供金融安全的长期愿景。该公司成立于1918年,为500多万会员服务。在加入TIAA之前,Pressman在通用电气的金融服务和工业业务部门中担任过各种领导职务,包括通用电气资本房地产以及通用电气能源在欧洲、非洲、中东和西南亚的首席执行官,工作地点在伦敦。
此外,Ron还在多个非营利性委员会任职,包括A Better Chance,该委员会是在全美范围内发现、招募和培养代表性不足的有色人种年轻领袖的卓越资源。他坚定地致力于ULI的三大优先事项--去碳化、住房和培养下一代的多元化领袖。
Ron接替于4月宣布退休的Ed Walter担任全球首席执行官。
ULI亚太区隆重推出首届ULI Hines亚太区学生竞赛。该竞赛为毕业季的本科生和研究生提供了绝佳机会:参赛者可以组建多学科团队,并参与一项具有挑战性的实践,体现负责任的土地利用。每个团队由三至五名学生组成,他们至少是在攻读两个不同学科的学位。每个团队需要在三周时间内为亚太地区的一个真实地块提出开发方案。
2022年@ULICapitalTalks将于11月23日至24日线上召开。来自房地产行业的资深领袖将与ULI会员独家分享他们的成功秘笈,并介绍可操作的见解、数据驱动知识和创新想法。

为了加快亚洲高密度城市向净零碳排放的过渡,零碳计划(NZI)召集了开发、规划、设计、物业管理和地产科技方面的专家,采访了几十位利益相关者,并推荐了一个量身定制的路线图。零碳计划是于2021年启动的一项公私合作倡议,在全球精选若干城市,聘请一个技术援助小组(TAP)为其制定了一条通往脱碳的道路。在NZI成立的第一年,ULI已经向北京和深圳的区政府提供了相关建议。在未来的一年里,ULI中国香港将致力于解决当地的相关挑战并加快建筑脱碳进程。

Karen Tay Koh现身ULI新加坡WLI专属会议
ULI新加坡女性领袖倡议(WLI)组织了一次专属会议,由Karen Tay Koh主讲。Koh是一位著名的房地产基金经理,并经营一家医院。会议中,Koh提到了市场上现有的产品,医疗保健行业和酒店业之间的主要区别,以及涉及的成本因素。

ULI菲律宾:宿雾项目考察
最近结束的宿务参访活动——聚焦酒店业吸引了来自马尼拉和宿务的参与者。ULI菲律宾酒店业委员会联席主席Cyndy Tan Jarabata带领大家参观了宿务市、麦克坦岛和South Road Properties的各种资产类别的酒店。参访团还参观了著名设计师Kenneth Cobonpue的展室和宿务省议会大厦。
ULI大湾区:中国房地产投资机遇
中国房地产行业正处于一个充满挑战的时期,对于有远见的投资者而言,当前存在哪些机会呢?10月20日,ULI大湾区携手中海地产、仲量联行和帕拉丁资本共同举办了一场网络视频研讨会,就此问题展开探讨。该活动吸引了50余位与会者参加。
专家们分享了他们的经验,讨论了当前房地产投资和开发的逻辑。此外,他们还就在这个充满挑战的时代投资机会何在的问题给出了各自的见解。
ULI韩国:参访仁川内港-松岛水岸开发项目
ULI韩国分会举办了仁川内港和金色港湾的专属参访活动,并为资深领袖和青年领袖小组(YLG)定制了引人入胜的游船之旅。在仁川港务局的赞助下,参访团听取了仁川内港和松岛金色港湾的最新未来发展计划。介绍结束后,参访团还参观了目前正在开发的场地。活动以社交午餐结束。
ULI中国香港x香港大学建筑规范项目
ULI中国香港非常荣幸能与香港大学建筑系合作,举办2022年秋季建筑硕士设计研讨会。本次活动的目的是基于香港的一个真实场地,用ESG的视角来审视香港的建筑法规。我们的目标是最终提升建筑规范,建设一个更加美好的香港。
Ron Pressman has joined Urban Land Institute as the Global CEO. Ron most recently was the CEO of TIAA Institutional Financial Services, leading the company’s long-term vision for delivering financial security for institutional clients. The company was founded in 1918 and serves over five million members. Prior to TIAA, Ron served in various leadership roles across GE’s financial services and industrial business, including roles as CEO of GE Capital Real Estate, and GE Energy in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia, based in London.
Additionally, Ron has served on several non-profit boards, including A Better Chance, which serves as a preeminent resource for identifying, recruiting, and developing leaders among underrepresented young people of colour throughout the United States. He is deeply committed to ULI's three priorities – decarbonisation, housing, and educating the next generation of diverse leaders.
Ron assumes the Global CEO role in place of Ed Walter, who announced his retirement in April.
ULI Asia Pacific is proud to launch the inaugural ULI Hines Student Competition in Asia Pacific. The competition offers final-year undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to form multidisciplinary teams and engage in a challenging exercise in responsible land use exercise. Teams of three to five students pursuing degrees in at least two different disciplines will have three weeks to propose a development programme for an actual site in Asia Pacific.
Convening virtually from around the world, the 2022 @ULICapitalTalks will be held on 23-24 November. Industry senior leaders are going to share their secrets and present actionable insights, data-driven knowledge, and innovative ideas from the real estate industry exclusively with ULI members.

Day 2 | 2023 ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Asia Pacific
The Net Zero Imperative (NZI) convenes experts across developing, planning, design, property management, and proptech, interviewing dozens of stakeholders and recommending a tailored roadmap to accelerate the transition to net zero in high-density Asian cities. NZI is a public-private partnership initiative launched in 2021, leveraging a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) in selected global cities to develop a pathway to decarbonisation. In the first year, ULI has offered recommendations to Beijing and Shenzhen district governments. In the year to come, ULI Hong Kong will work to address local challenges and accelerate building decarbonisation.
Six exceptional developments from around the world have been selected as winners of the 2022 ULI Global Awards for Excellence. This year’s winners include two from the Asia Pacific region, two from Europe, and two from North America. 2022 ULI Japan Fall Conference Showcases Property Startups
The 2022 ULI Japan Fall Conference will showcase a diverse lineup of ten property startups. Join us on 1 December in Tokyo to interact and hear directly from these startups who molded their businesses and built thriving companies during the pandemic.
ULI Singapore WLI Insider Session with Karen Tay Koh
The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Singapore organised an insider session featuring Karen Tay Koh. Koh is a renowned real estate fund manager and runs a hospital. Koh cited existing products in the market, the key differences between healthcare and hospitality, as well as the cost factors involved.
A fireside chat led by Angela Lee, Managing Director, APAC of HKS Inc. deep dived into the convergence of healthcare and hospitality with respect to senior living.
ULI Philippines: Cebu Study Tour
The recently concluded Cebu Study Tour: Hospitality in Focus had participants from both Manila and Cebu. ULI Philippines Hospitality Committee co-chair Cyndy Tan Jarabata led the tour by showcasing the various hospitality asset classes in Cebu City, Mactan Island, and South Road Properties. The tour included a visit to famous designer Kenneth Cobonpue's showroom and the Cebu Provincial Capitol.
ULI GBA: China Real Estate Investment Opportunities
During this challenging period in Chinese real estate, what are opportunities for visionary investors? On 20 October, ULI Greater Bay Area hosted a webinar with China Overseas Property, Jones Lang LaSalle and Paladin Capital, to address this question. The event attracted over 50 attendees.
Experts shared their experience, discussed the logic of current real estate investment and development, and provided insights on where the investment opportunities are in this challenging time.
ULI South Korea: Incheon Inner Port-Songdo Waterfront Development Tour
ULI South Korea hosted exclusive guided tours to Incheon Inner Port and Golden Harbor with a compelling boat tour tailored for senior leaders and YLG. The tours, sponsored by Incheon Port Authority, featured a presentation of the latest future development plans of Incheon Inner Port and Songdo Golden Harbor. The presentation was followed by a tour of the current sites in development and a networking lunch.
ULI Hong Kong x HKU Building Code Project
ULI Hong Kong Young Leaders Group presented a guided tour by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation to the newly unveiled Advanced Manufacturing Centre. The Centre is a best-in-class facility with high-spec, a fully-serviced production base for advanced manufacturin. Its mission is to re-industrialise Hong Kong, achieve technology-driven growth and strengthen the “Innovated, Designed and Made in Hong Kong” brand.
