2021年10月27日，在北京冬奥会倒计时100天之际，《冬奥会体育项目名词》发布暨冬奥术语平台V3版交付仪式在北京冬奥组委隆重举行。
《冬奥会体育项目名词》揭幕
《冬奥会体育项目名词》是一本面向2022年北京冬奥会和冬残奥会的多语种纸质术语手册，主要为北京冬奥会的口笔译人员、志愿者、运动员、裁判员、新闻媒体工作人员等提供服务。本书共包含核心竞赛项目术语名词3000多条，涉及北京冬奥会和冬残奥会全部竞赛项目，覆盖中、法、英、俄、德、西、日、韩/朝八个语种。

短道速滑
与速度滑冰不同的是，短道速滑比赛是参赛者之间的直接较量，而不是与时间赛跑。因此，短道速滑比赛策略、胆识、技巧和刺激并存。北京冬奥会短道速滑运动共设9个竞赛项目，包括首次亮相冬奥会的混合团体接力。
Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating
Unlike in speed skating, competitors in short track speed skating race against one another, rather than the clock. As a result, short track races are full of strategy, bravery, skills and high-intensity excitement. Beijing 2022 features 9 short track speed skating events, including the mixed group relay that will be making its Winter Olympic debut.

短道速滑比赛扣人心弦，出发——快速占位——控制与反控制——超越与反超越，竞争异常激烈。为了防止和减少运动损伤，短道速滑头盔必须是规则形状，不能有任何突起。运动员可以选择佩戴护目镜。护颈、手套、紧身服、护腿板都要有防切割功能。冰刀刀根为圆弧形，刀管采用封闭式，最少有两点固定在鞋上，没有可动部分。

Short Track Speed Skating
Short track speed skating is an extremely exciting ice sport that combines speed, skills, tactics and strategy. In order to prevent and reduce injuries, the helmet must have a regular shape without any protrusions. Goggles can be used. Neck guard, gloves, shin guard, and skinsuit must all be cut proof. All speed skates must have the blade ends rounded off and the tubes closed, with at least two points on each blade fixed to the boot and no movable parts.

单板滑雪
单板滑雪是指利用滑雪板从雪坡上滑降的运动。上世纪60年代，该项目在美国发展成为一项运动，之后在1998年日本长野冬奥会首次成为了正式奥运项目。尽管至今为止单板滑雪只亮相了六届奥运会，但这无碍这项运动的受欢迎程度与日俱增。现在，单板滑雪已经成为冬奥会上最受欢迎和最激动人心的运动项目之一。北京冬奥会单板滑雪运动共设11个竞赛项目。

Despite having been featured at only six Olympic Games, snowboard has grown in popularity. Now, it has become one of the most popular and exciting sports at the Winter Olympics. Beijing 2022 will feature 11 snowboard events.

北京2022年冬奥会单板滑雪项目的大跳台比赛在北京赛区的首钢滑雪大跳台进行，其余小项在张家口赛区的云顶滑雪公园进行，共产生11枚金牌。云顶滑雪公园包括U型场地技巧、坡面障碍技巧、雪上技巧、空中技巧、障碍追逐、平行大回转六条赛道。云顶滑雪公园不仅是自由式滑雪及单板滑雪国家队的训练基地，也为大众冰雪运动提供了优质场地。

Snowboard
Also called “winter surfing”, snowboard combines the skills of skateboarding and surfing. Athletes use their bodies and feet to control their direction and make a series of technical movements on the track, such as sliding, jumping, avoiding obstacles, and so on.
Venue
Of the Beijing 2022 snowboard events, the large hill events will be held at Big Air Shougang in the Beijing competition zone, and the other individual events will be hosted at the Genting Snow Park in the Zhangjiakou competition zone, where athletes will compete for 11 gold medals. There are six courses in the Genting Snow Park for six events, namely, half-pipe, slopestyle, moguls, aerials, snowboard-cross, and parallel giant slalom. The Genting Snow Park is not only the training base for China’s national teams for freestyle skiing and snowboard but also a premium skiing venue for the public.

高山滑雪和自由式滑雪
高山滑雪起源于欧洲的阿尔卑斯地区，故又称阿尔卑斯滑雪。高山滑雪是冬季奥运会项目中对运动员身体素质要求最高的运动项目之一，被誉为“冬奥会皇冠上的明珠”。高山滑雪是在越野滑雪基础上逐步形成的，1936年起被列为冬奥会比赛项目。高山滑雪是使用固定后脚跟装置的滑雪板，顺着白雪覆盖的斜坡向下滑行的运动。北京冬奥会高山滑雪运动包括11个竞赛项目。自由式滑雪是选手们在斜坡上自由滑降，通过表演空中技巧来比拼的艺术性比赛，也被称为雪原的杂技。与比拼速度的高山滑雪不同，其最大特征是能欣赏到选手们的华丽空中技巧，北京冬奥会自由式滑雪运动包括13个竞赛项目。
Alpine Skiing and Freestyle Skiing
Alpine skiing originated in the Alps region of Europe. Accordingly, it is sometimes called “Alps skiing.” As one of the most physically demanding sports in the Olympic Winter Games, alpine skiing is known as “a crown jewel of the Olympic Winter Games”. Alpine skiing grew out of cross-country skiing. Alpine skiing events were held for the fi rst time at the Winter Olympics in 1936. In alpine skiing, an athlete slides down a snow-covered slope on skis with fixed heel bindings. The alpine competition at Beijing 2022 will feature 11 events. Freestyle skiing is an artistic competition involving aerial acrobatics while freely gliding down a slope. Unlike alpine skiing where athletes compete in speed, athletes of freestyle skiing compete in aerial skills. The freestyle competition at Beijing 2022 will feature 13 events.

高山滑雪
高山滑雪被誉为“冬奥会皇冠上的明珠”。国家高山滑雪中心位于延庆赛区，设7条雪道，雪道坡度大、落差大，建设难度极高，主要承担高山滑雪赛事。同时国家高山滑雪中心还包括山顶出发区、中间平台、竞技结束区、集散广场、索道等配套设施，最多同时容纳8000人观赛。
Alpine Skiing
Alpine skiing is known as “a crown jewel of the Winter Olympics”. The National Alpine Skiing Centre, located in Yanqing district in north-western Beijing, has seven courses with large slopes across rugged terrain. All alpine skiing events will be hosted in the centre. Featuring major facilities such as a mountaintop start area, mountainside platform, finish area, distribution square and cableways, the National Alpine Skiing Centre can accommodate up to 8,000 spectators at the same time.
自由式滑雪
自由式滑雪是将高山滑雪和空中技巧相结合的一种全新的具有强烈刺激感的滑雪项目，起源于20世纪30年代的美国。北京2022年冬奥会自由式滑雪比赛项目包括男女个人空中技巧、雪上技巧、U型场地技巧、坡面障碍技巧、障碍追逐、大跳台以及空中技巧混合团体，其中大跳台项目将在北京赛区进行，其余小项在张家口赛区进行。竞赛一共将产生13枚金牌。
Freestyle Skiing
Freestyle skiing combines speed, showmanship and the ability to perform aerial manoeuvres whilst skiing. Its origin can date back to the 1930s in the United States. The freestyle skiing events at Beijing 2022 include men’s and women’s individual aerials, moguls, half-pipe, slopestyle, snowboard-cross, large hill and mixed team aerials. Except for the large hill events, which will be held in the Beijing competition zone, the other events will be hosted in the Zhangjiakou competition zone. A total of 13 gold medals will be awarded.
