小白老师说：受疫情影响，很多院校改为自主命题考试，而翻译是颇受青睐的热门题型。昨天在公众号布置了一篇翻译作业，不知大家都做得如何？今天一起来看一下参考译文吧。

人类在漫长发展进程中创造了丰富多彩的世界文明，中华文明是世界文明多样性的重要组成部分。中医药作为中华文明的杰出代表，是中国各族人民在几千年生产生活实践和与疾病作斗争中逐步形成并不断丰富发展的医学科学，不仅为中华民族的发展和昌盛做出了卓越贡献，也对世界文明进步产生了积极影响。

In the long course of its development, mankind has created a colorful world civilization harboring great diversity, among which Chinese civilization is an indispensable component. Traditional Chinese medicine, as an outstanding representative of Chinese civilization, is a medical science that was formed and has been gradually enriched by the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in their life and fight against diseases over several thousand years. It has not only made a great contribution to the development and prosperity of the Chinese nation, but also produced a positive impact on the advancement of human civilization. 

中医药在历史发展进程中，形成了独特的生命观、健康观、疾病观、防治观，实现了自然科学与人文科学的融合，蕴含了中华民族深邃的哲学思想。随着人们健康观念变化，中医药越来越显示出独特价值。中医药与西医药各具优势，相互促进，共同维护和增进民众健康。中医药已经成为中国公共医疗卫生制度的重要特征和显著优势。

During the course of its historical evolvement, TCM has formed a unique outlook on life, health, disease prevention and treatment, achieved the integration of natural science and humanities and embodied the profound philosophical thoughts of the Chinese nation. 

With changes in people's perception of health, TCM has increasingly shown its unparalleled value. TCM and Western medicine, with their respective strengths, have complemented and reinforced each other. They are employed jointly to maintain and promote people's health. TCM has already become a major feature and notable strength of China's public healthcare. 

小白老师碎碎念：

清代著名翻译家严复在《天演论·译例言》中提出了“信达雅”的翻译标准。“信”就是指忠实于原作的内容，把原文完整而准确的表达出来。“达”就是指语言通顺易懂，符合规范。“雅”就是指在满足“信、达”的基础上使译文流畅，有文采。

严复是中国近代翻译史上具有划时代意义的翻译家，也是我国首创完整翻译标准的先驱者，他提出的“信达雅”这条著名的“三字经“对后世的翻译理论与实践有很大的影响。

我们参加考试，只要能做到“信”和“达”，就算基本完成任务；如果能在此基础上略显文采，便是锦上添花了。
