报告摘要
Synchronization of a large population of oscillators is a typical emergent behavior that originates from the competition and self-organization of coupled units. Moreover, synchronization is a key mechanism in understanding numerous collective behaviors such as swarmings, flockings, and pattern formations and switchings in complex systems. Statistical physics, as a powerful tool in dealing macroscopic behaviors in physics, can be well applied to the exploration of synchrony dynamics of complex systems. In this talk, I will give a mini-review on the basic idea and framework of statistical theory and order parameter dynamics of synchronization, and I will also present some examples of the application of this theory.
个人简介
郑志刚，华侨大学荟萃计划特聘教授（二级），闽江学者，桐江学者特聘教授，福建省高层次领军人才（B类），系统科学研究所所长。第三届“全国优秀博士学位论文”奖、教育部“高校青年教师奖”、高校“首批优秀骨干教师”称号的获得者。曾担任科技部973项目混沌子课题负责人，美国加州理工学院高级访问学者，香港Croucher Fellow，意大利理论物理国际中心 (ICTP) 联系成员，新加坡国立大学高级访问科学家，兼任北京物理学会理事、中国物理学会教学委员会委员、高等学校热力学与统计物理研究会副理事长、北京师范大学物理系系主任等。主要从事统计物理与非线性科学等方面的理论研究工作，在Phys. Rev. Lett.等国际刊物上发表学术论文近200篇，出版专著5部。
