个人简介



Prof. Rosario Fazio received his PhD in Physics in 1990 from the University of Catania (Italy). He is currently Head of the Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics Section at ICTP.  He has co-authored 300+ research articles. His research interests include Quantum information in many-body systems, quantum transport in nanostructures, superconductivity, quantum simulators, non-equilibrium many-body systems and quantum heat engines.

The Workshop is hosted by Peng-Huan-Wu Research Center of the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences at its South Building at Zhong Guan Cun east street 55, during the time period from November 18 to 23, 2019.
The workshop aims to bring together leading scientists at the forefront of quantum simulation and quantum devices, to discuss recent progress and new directions in this interdisciplinary field. The first three days was reserved to introductory tutorials aimed to students and young researchers. Cutting- edge research topics was covered by invited and contributed talks over the remaining days of the conference.
