2022版SJR期刊排名已经发布，Scimago Journal and Country Ranking （SJR）以Scopus®数据库中包含的期刊为基础给期刊排名。这一平台根据SCImago Journal Rank （SJR）指标命名，由SCImago团队利用广为人知的Google PageRank™算法开发。SJR的衡量标准包括期刊的被引用次数，以及引用期刊的名声或水平。在SCImago Journal & Country Rank官网研究人员可通过多个筛选条件搜索期刊。
期刊可分为四个梯队：Q1，Q2，Q3和Q4。Q1和Q2梯队的期刊是顶级期刊，Q3和Q4梯队期刊是低级期刊。分类时会考虑期刊的目标和范围、编辑委员会的质量、影响因子、外部意见和论文质量。
