Our year-on-year success, thanks to the world-renowned Canadian (Alberta) curriculum, is undoubtedly a result of the strong awareness of the world our students have when they leave CIS, as we’ve been actively preparing them to think globally to excel in an international environment, both at university and at work.

Across the Alberta curriculum from the early years till Grade 12, our professional teachers use case studies, examples and topics drawn from a variety of countries and communities. Different voices and perspectives are heard and evaluated. As soon as students start school at CIS, they learn that is a world beyond their own, and that we all have different perspectives. They understand the value of each other’s knowledge. They share in cultural exchanges and are constantly thrown into new challenges. In classes, students can debate about and tackle global issues such as pollution in our oceans, pandemic outbreaks, food shortages or even economic changes. When it comes to learning at CIS, the possibilities are endless.
