问：女性要转男身才能成就吗?

Question: Does a female have to make achievements with a male body?  

答：在显宗里，尤其是小乘里有时有这样的说法。但是在大乘佛法，尤其是密宗里没有这个说法，只有在特殊情况下有一点点区别。平时男女都一样，一样能修行，一样能解脱，一样能成就，没有区别，没有高下之分。在密宗里，女性代表智慧，学得也快，成就也快。现在到末法时期了，这个时候女性成就得更快，成就者更多，所以你们一定要好好学、好好修。在密乘十四条根本戒里有不能诽谤女性的戒条，如果诽谤女性就犯根本戒了。为什么呢？第一、女性代表智慧。第二、女性成就的特别多。所以不能随便诽谤女性，否则很容易诽谤到空行母和成就者，这样罪过特别严重。

Guru’s answer；There is such a saying in exoteric Buddhism, Hinayana Buddhism in particular. However, in Mahayana, especially in Secret Mantra, there is no such saying. Only in some special conditions can we see slight differences. Both males and females are allowed to do practicing. They have equal chances to obtain liberation. There is no difference and no one is superior to the other. In Secret Mantra, female represents wisdom, who learns and makes achievement quicker. We are in the degenerate age now, during which females can make achievement much quicker. There will be more female achievers nowadays. As a result, you have to learn and practice diligently. In the 14 commandments in Mantrayana, some commandments stipulate that we cannot criticize females; otherwise, precepts will be violated. What is the reason for this? First of all, female represents wisdom. Secondly, there are lots of female achievers out there. Therefore, we cannot criticize females. You might defame dakinis or achievers which will induce severe offences.
