关于巽美术馆
巽美术馆是广东顺德⼀家非营利公共艺术机构，由收藏家吴美曼女⼠创办并担任馆长，于2020年9⽉12日正式开馆。美术馆坐落于广东省顺德区华侨城欢乐海岸内，展厅共有三层，⾯积约1000平⽅⽶，由中国设计师简俊凯担纲设计。
秉持“全球在地化”的行动理念，巽美术馆试图在当代艺术实践的过程中，整合国内外资源，结合高标准、多元化的艺术表达形式，建立展览、学术研究和公共项目一体化的运营机制，不断推动传统与当代、本土与国际之间的对话。
作为岭南文化在当代的见证人，巽美术馆将以时代观察者的目光密切注视当下岭南与当代艺术生态，成为在数字时代下广泛参与多元文化融合与建构的当代艺术实验室。在顺德这一典型的消费场域中，巽美术馆关注消费社会下人的生存境况，在消费文化与当代艺术的交汇地带进行持续探索。
Duende Art Museum (DAM) is a non-profit public art institution in OCT Harbour PLUS, Shunde, Guangdong Province, China, which was founded by collector Ms. Wu Meiman (Mandy), and opened in 12 September 2020. The three-story exhibition hall in DAM covers an area of about 1,000 square meters which was designed by a Chinese designer Jian Junkai (Can) who worked in Zaha Hadid Architects.
Upholding the concept of "Glocalisation", in the practice of contemporary art, DAM tries to integrate domestic and foreign resources, combine high-standard and diversified forms of artistic expression, establish an operation mechanism with exhibitions, academic researches and public projects, and constantly promote the dialogue between tradition and contemporary, localization and globalization.
As a contemporary witness of Lingnan culture, DAM will keep an eye on the ecology of Lingnan and contemporary art as a observer of the time, thus becoming a contemporary art laboratory that is widely involved in the integration and construction of diverse cultures in the digital era. In Shunde, a typical field of consumption, DAM focuses on the living conditions of people in the consumer society and continues to explore the intersection of consumer culture and contemporary art.
