拾萬空间欣然宣布于2023年4月1日举办“种太阳”——贺勋个展，这是贺勋在拾萬空间的第二次个展。

艺术家在展前复述了自己的宗教老师所讲的故事：某人去参拜上师，在门口急切敲门，上师正念经，让他等候，他仍急躁催促，上师说道：“巴拉就巴拉就”（印度语意为滚出去），他误以为是上师传授了咒语便满意离开，回乡后专心持诵，竟有所成；村里人若有疼痛就请他念咒，念后对患处吹气，病即痊愈。某日上师来至村中另一弟子家，餐时食物过硬致使上师牙疼，弟子便去请来那人，那人见到传法的上师立即顶礼，礼后即用“咒语”治愈了上师的牙疼。

贺勋说的是“信”。贺勋长期对文学与绘画的关系、图像与事物及语言的关系的探究使他饱含力量永无止境地在工作。从文体形式到语法修辞，从文字图腾到词语音节再到发音造字，由此复杂的逻辑处理和编织工作可以得知贺勋绝不是语言游戏者，他在工作中保持着对语言超常且天然的热爱、敏锐和敬畏；2021年个展“黄金螺旋”中，艺术家展示了他以二点五维的方式往返于事物与图腾间来唤醒万物有灵观念在当下复苏的努力，而此次展览呈现的是这一历程中艺术家所创得和运用的语言，是事物中长出的语言，是语言与事物陌不相识却浑然一体、相互信任的无言时刻。

本次展览将展出艺术家于2021-2023年间创作的十余件“种子与种子字”的新作；展览标题出自上世纪八九十年代家喻户晓的儿童歌曲：“种太阳”，太阳的音符，种子的语言，在此刻播撒；展览持续至2023年5月15日。

Hunsand Space is pleased to announce that “Sow a Sun" - He Xun Solo Exhibition, He Xun's second solo exhibition at Hunsand Space.

Before the exhibition, the artist recounted a story told by his religious teacher: Someone went to visit his master and impatiently knocked on the door while the master was reciting scriptures. The master asked him to wait, but he continued to urge him impatiently. The master said, "Bara bara" (meaning "get out" in Hindi). The visitor mistakenly thought the master had taught him a spell and left satisfied. After returning home, he concentrated on reciting the spell and achieved some success. If someone in the village had a pain, they would ask him to recite the spell and blow on the affected area, and the illness would be cured. One day, the master went to another disciple's home in the village, and during the meal, the food was too hard and caused the master to have a toothache. The disciple went to get the person who could cast the "spell," and when he saw the master who was transmitting the teachings, he immediately paid his respects. After the ceremony, he used the "spell" to cure the master's toothache.

He Xun talks about "faith". He Xun's long-term exploration of the relationship between literature and painting, the relationship between images and things, and the relationship between language has made him full of power and endless in his work. From literary forms to grammar and rhetoric, from textual totems to word syllables and even to pronunciation and character creation, the complex logical processing and weaving work can be seen that He Xun is not a language gamer. He maintains an extraordinary, natural love, keenness, and awe for language in his work. In his 2021 solo exhibition "Golden Spiral", the artist demonstrated his efforts to revive the concept of animism in all things in the present by shuttling back and forth between things and totems in a 2.5-dimensional way. This exhibition presents the language created and used by the artist in this process. It is the language that grows out of things, and the silent moments of language and things that are unfamiliar yet integrated and trust each other.

This exhibition will feature more than ten new works by the artist created between 2021 and 2023, titled "Seed and Seed Word". The exhibition title is derived from a well-known children's song from the 1980s and 1990s, "Planting the Sun", the notes of the sun, the language of the seeds, sown at this moment. The exhibition will run until May 15, 2023.

Hunsand Space (Beijing) was established in Caochangdi Art District in 2014, relocated to the 798 Art Zone in 2018. At the end of 2021, Hunsand Center for Contemporary Art (Shijiazhuang) was opened in Shijiazhuang. In 2023, Hunsand Space (Hangzhou) was founded in Long Wu, Hangzhou. As a professional gallery, Hunsand Space (Beijing) keeps vigilance in presenting art exhibitions with conventional way in white cubes, aiming to take the semantics and syntax from the language of contemporary art as a point of departure and expand them into a broader field. Through its vigorous programs of exhibitions and projects, Hunsand Space (Beijing) hopes to stimulate the neglected aspects in contemporary culture and brings the values of contemporary art into our lives.
