China has set its GDP growth rate at over 6 percent for 2021 as its economic recovery gathers steam, and will devote full energy to promoting reform, innovation, and high-quality development, Premier Li Keqiang said Friday while delivering the report on the government's work at the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress.
3月5日，第十三届全国人民代表大会第四次会议在北京人民大会堂开幕。国务院总理李克强在政府工作报告中表示，2021年国内生产总值要实现6%以上的增长。目标设定考虑了经济运行恢复情况，有利于引导各方面集中精力推进改革创新、推动高质量发展。
"In 2021, China will continue to face many development risks and challenges, but the economic fundamentals that will sustain long-term growth remain unchanged."
李克强表示，今年我国发展仍面临不少风险挑战，但经济长期向好的基本面没有改变。他指出，国家对经济恢复充满信心。
The government is forecasting the creation of over 11 million new urban jobs this year, with an unemployment rate under 5.5 percent. On inflation, it expects the Consumer Price Index to increase by around 3 percent as well as steady growth in personal income. A drop of around 3 percent in energy consumption per unit of GDP is projected, along with a further improvement in the environment.
今年发展主要预期目标是：城镇新增就业1100万人以上，城镇调查失业率5.5%左右；居民消费价格涨幅3%左右；居民收入稳步增长；生态环境质量进一步改善，单位国内生产总值能耗降低3%左右。

China launched its Long March-7A Y2 carrier rocket on Friday from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China's island province of Hainan.
3月12日，我国在海南文昌航天发射场成功完成长征七号改遥二运载火箭发射。
The rocket blasted off at 1:51 a.m. (Beijing Time) from the launch site, sending an experimental satellite into the planned orbit.
北京时间凌晨1时51分，火箭从发射场升空，将一颗试验卫星送入计划轨道。
The satellite will be mainly used for in-orbit tests of new technologies including space environment monitoring.
本次发射的试验九号卫星主要用于空间环境监测等新技术在轨验证试验。
A modified version of the Long March-7 rocket, the launch vehicle represents the new generation of China's medium-sized high-orbit rocket. It has a carrying capacity of at least 7 tonnes for the geosynchronous orbit.
长征七号改遥二运载火箭由长征七号运载火箭改进研制而成，是中国新一代中型高轨火箭的代表。该运载火箭用于发射地球同步轨道卫星，运载能力不少于7吨。
This was the 362nd flight mission of the Long March rocket series.
这次任务是长征系列运载火箭的第362次飞行。

Thomas Bach, the incumbent president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), has been re-elected for an additional four-year term that is to conclude in 2025, the IOC said on Wednesday.
国际奥委会3月10日宣布，现任国际奥委会主席巴赫成功连任，将继续执掌国际奥委会至2025年。
As the only candidate, Bach earned 93 votes, one veto and four abstentions on Wednesday during the 137th IOC's Session which is held online. His current term as the IOC president will finish on the closing day of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 on Aug. 8 this year, and the second term will start immediately after, and will conclude in 2025.
国际奥委会第137次全会10日以视频会议的形式召开，作为唯一候选人，巴赫获得了93票支持、1票反对、4票弃权。他的现任任期将于2020年东京奥林匹克运动会闭幕日8月8日结束。第二任期将从闭幕日第二天起持续到2025年。
"Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for this overwhelming vote of confidence and trust. For me, this is even more overwhelming considering the many reforms and the many difficult decisions we had to take, which affected all of us," said Bach after his re-election.

Hurun Report today released the Hurun Global Rich List 2021, a ranking of the US Dollar billionaires in the world. Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 15 January 2021. This is the tenth year of the ranking.
3月2日，胡润研究院发布《2021胡润全球富豪榜》。上榜企业家财富计算截止日期为2021年1月15日。这是胡润研究院连续第十年发布“全球富豪榜”。
The Hurun Global Rich List 2021 ranked 3228 billionaires from 2402 companies and 68 countries.
今年共有来自68个国家、2402家公司的3228位十亿美金企业家上榜。
2312 saw their wealth increase, of which 610 were new faces. 635 saw their wealth decrease, and there were 194 drop-offs. 32 died. 282 saw their wealth stay the same. The average age is 65.
从榜单来看，有2312人的财富增加了，其中610人是新面孔。635人的财富减少，有194人落榜。32人去世。282人的财富保持不变。上榜企业家平均年龄为65岁。
Hurun Report chairman and chief researcher Rupert Hoogewerf said, “Despite the disruption caused by Covid-19, this year has seen the biggest wealth increase of the last decade. A stock markets boom, driven partly by quantitative easing, and flurry of new listings have minted eight new dollar billionaires a week for the past year.”
胡润百富董事长兼首席调研官胡润表示：“尽管受到新冠疫情的影响，但今年的财富涨幅是过去十年来最大的一次。过去一年，股票市场的繁荣和大量的新上市公司每周都造就了8位新的十亿美金企业家。”
“China has added more new faces than the rest of the world combined, and pulled away big time from the USA in the past year. Despite the Trade War with the USA, China added 259 new billionaires, to become the first country in the world to top 1000 ‘known’ dollar billionaires with 1058, more than the combined total of the next three countries of the USA, India and Germany. In the last five years, China has added 490 billionaires, compared with 160 in the US.”
